amir khan v pacquiao
Someone was saying that this is nearly a done deal but I can't find anything about it - if it were to happen what are your thoughts?

Call him a drugs cheat, and avoid him for 5 years til he's slowed down a bit more? Might be his best strategy.

Haha, except Khan isn't Mayweather, doesn't have the nous to tie up or have the defence to deal with Manny when he pins him against the ropes
I really love this fight, two very fast combination punchers going at it, think Manny will shock some people at how easy he makes this

Manny has problems with aggressive counter punchers who trade with him, Khan isn't a counter puncher, he leads then covers up, the problem is either he gets caught whilst throwing his 12 punch combination, or he tries to move away, gets pinned on the ropes then takes a shellacking.
Don't forget that Roach knows Khan very well, so he probably knows his weaknesses
I suppose Khan has sparred Pacquiao before so his arkwardness might not be as difficult for him, but that was YEARS ago.
If this happens Uncle Bob is going to be furious as is Eddie Hearn

Khan always ups his game against what he perceives as a dangerous oppenents, think maidana, Kotelnik, why can't he stay on outside/run a bit, get a luckyish shot, body, has pacquiao faded since Floyd/Bradley...

Five years or so then Manny would win hands down.
I agree with Tunes that now Khan should win "if" he boxes the way we know he can..if not and Manny draws him into a scrap, then favours Manny KO.

Think mannys boxing is criminally underated
He was out boxed by mayweather yea but khan isn't mayweather and pacquiao has the footwork ti close the distance
Logic says manny could and should KO him but can't help but notice that manny hasn't scored a KO since cotto so I feel he has to be due one. Mayweather is a defensive genius, bradley has amazing survival and conditioning, marquez has a granite chin, Rios likewise, Algieri was knocked from pillar to post and khan is weaker then all of them chin wise

I wouldn't say Marquez has a granite chin, more that he can recover from being knocked down and knows what to do
Khan has a worse chin and doesn't have a clue how to survive, when he gets knocked down by Pacquiao he will get up, start trading and get put on the floor again and again and again, until the ref stops it
His survival instincts are appalling.

Not sure Khan gets up 'again and again'... He doesn't go too well after getting knocked down and the next visit to the canvas usually involves him doing the chicken dance when he gets up (if he does).
Khan when things aren't going all his way is beyond average. Manny simply smashes him to pieces, only give Khan a punchers chance and he hits about as hard as Truss's Mrs does with the paddle spanker.
Not sure the fight gets made as Manny fighting one of my turds would be a bigger draw.

Khan gets caught by Manny and he's not getting up, and Manny is still fast enough to catch Khan and catch him clean.

If a natural boxer like Algieri can have success being a pressure fighter against khan how would you think an actually pressure fighter who's levels above Algieri will do
