Two passes to no one already from Patchell
And that lineout on the 5 minutes was the worst defensive play of the season so far.

All Scarlets tries, points and opportunities have come from Blues possession,
Scarlets haven't actually had much possession...as we gift them 3pts with a stupid penalty while in possession

What's that? 5 penalties given away by the Blues 4 & 5.
We need at least two new locks next season.

Scarlet just wait for a mistake and they score blues poor in defence as usual.

Haven't seen Cuthbert all game
Tom James on the other hand!
He may have given away the intercept, but he is by far the Blues biggest threat.

Saw him lean on a ruck in the first half. That's about it so far.

Pretty clearly had no chance to catch it.
It was cynical to prevent a 3 on 1 and likely try. Deserved a yellow.

Didn't think we would come back from 12 - 3 down,
Didn't think we would throw it away against 13 men
Didn't think we would score that try
I've had enough surprised for today,
Can they blow the whistle now?

Did not think we would win that before the match
Definitely did not think we would win it after 20 minutes
Thought we would lose it with 1 minute to go.
Two ridiculous comebacks in a row
Being a Blues fan is not good for your heart.

Great game, better team edged it. Scarlets were pretty good, but as per their discipline was horrendous. Another few cards to add to the list.

Re: Blues vs Scarlets
Starting to dislike Tom James as a player (not that he cares) who once again was acting like a muppet after today's game. The funny thing is that he's not even that good a player. He was dropped from Wales, dropped from Cardiff and after playing a few games for Exeter got dropped there as well. He also gave an intercept try today so to act like that at the final whistle tells me he has a very short memory.

Not sure how many is a full house these days. Was 13.5k not so long ago and nowt has changed as far as I can tell. Unless it's down to revised H&S regs.

Re: Blues vs Scarlets
Great game and best team won (despite giving away a few presents). Scarlets really struggling with injuries at present so they can reflect on a pretty good performance the get into a winning position against a pretty strong Cardiff team. When they get some of their injured players back the will win games like today's.
The young ref had a pretty good game apart from not yellow carding Cuthbert. On the TV there also looked to be an off the ball incident where the Cardiff no 8 seemed to hit the Scarlets no10, any one else catch that?

Who gives a sh*t where he's from. He was cheering and getting lairy right in somebody's face, basically being a very ungracious winner. I think it was the Scarlet who had given away the breakdown penalty which sealed it, and he was still on lying on the floor at the time, maybe hurt I don't know. I wasn't a fan of the finger on lips at Rodney Parade last week either - and at the time the Blues were still losing so not really sure why he did it.

Just watched a replay of the ending. I guess a posh Cardiff and the Vale player probably wouldn't do that sort of thing I spose. There again, it's Tom and he's showing he's happy to beat the Turks. He'll be doing an Ash the splash next.

Another close fought, exciting derby full of p**s poor rugby. Mistake after mistake from both sides and awful decision making. Still, let's stick our heads in the sand and get off on the "atmosphere".
PS: Tom James needs a slap from his captain, what a t0sser.

He's not from Merthyr, he is from Rhumney, about 5 miles away from Merthyr in the Gwent valleys. Although he did play for Merthyr and we used to call him the Merthyr Express, he has always had an attitude problem and he is not missed at Merthyr RFC either. A total tw@t of a person and he only has himself to blame for not getting anymore Welsh caps.
