I think that's a graphical typo. Just the top 13 made it, following a five-man play-off for the -2's, Edfors and Jeev Milkha missing out. Smith definitely failed to qualify.

Whatever happened to Milka-Singh? He was super steady for about 6 years, then just disappeared like an Éclair within 6 feet of Shane Lowry.

Doh!! I see it now. I just saw his name above the qualifying line and thought wow. Thanks for pointing out I could have sounded like a right tube up our club later, a few of our low guys know him. :-/

I agree, bed wetting matty is progressing pretty well. Shame he only got 24 points for his win.

Lets hope he doesn't follow the Matteo model of young European tour winners.

Another strange snippet from the European Tour web-site is that Sabbatini is playing the Czech Masters in late August. He hasn't played well on the PGA Tour this season and hasn't played at all since late April. No idea if he's crocked or what. But it seems he's given up on this PGA Tour season and will have to, presumably, cash in his Top 50 career money exemption. But he's only a few $100K from earning a Top 25. Curiouser and curiouser.

Now I am one of those who are in favour of the tournament having sponsor invitations. However, Mike Weir? why him? Has he supported the tournament in the past?

Good win for Stenson today.  I really like him off the golf course, but he is a bit drama queen on the golf course.  He told media people that he would probably need another MRI on his knee after WDing from the US Open last week...then he comes back and wins the following week.

Yep, I noticed that this morning. I tweeted to the EuroTour on Thursday about it.

Luuuuke must be rooting hard for Westy and Joost to not fall to 12th place which would let Richard Sterne into Troon.

Jaidee is playing great golf.

2nd for Sullivan would almost confirm his reservation for Hazeltine and solo 2nd would put Kaymer right on the bubble.

Fitzpatrick's spot on the team gets a little more tenuous.

Depending on Westwood for pars is not the certainty it used to be. Sterne in as things now stand.
