Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
didn't want to believe it, but the players do only look interested, when playing the top sides & when we're on TV (i wonder why). One step forward last week, two back this week. Had a chance to punish Norwich's defeat & we've missed it.

It's gonna be so depressing when hodgson starts Henderson/Milner ahead of Alli

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Palace's season has hit the brick wall. Alli was sensational, what a strike
1-3 win for Spurs, now five points clear of United, six with goal difference. LVG taking United nowhere, they need to grow some balls & make a decision.
Pretty much stalemate at the bottom, given the results.

Another game unbeaten, but need wins.
Who knows if the penalty had been given if we would have scored.
Fuming at Ipswich, if they had scored would have won £530, would have made the evening a bit more enjoyable.

Dimichelis a lucky boy and even luckier that he had Joe Hart behind him to make a stunning save from the free kick.

If you turn round a significant points difference you'll turn round the goal difference. Only matters if it's close.
We won't get close either way.

Great game, I'd have taken a point at the start but feel we should have won. They didn't even make the chances they scored from. Psychologically we assumed they'd come flying at us and gave them too much respect, we were better footballers. Song and Payet fantastic, Enner showing that ability.

Then you've lost sight and its a shame that you cannot be a fan who enjoys success of your own.
I've probably enjoyed the standard of football by West Ham more than you have City this season.

What a game that was at Carrow road!
Klopps reaction was class, what a man he is so happy to have him in the premiership. Also nice to see Lallana play like he did in his Southampton days.
Sort of sums up Norwich season. Fantastic going forward, however can't defend to save there life.
None the less great game, even the stupid goal music couldn't over shadow it!

Atrocious game between Norwich-Liverpool; a perfect embodiment of the lack of basic defending skills in the Premier League.

You're probably the only neutral in the world that was complaining about the defending rather than enjoying the goals flying in

It's very good, but I'm not convinced it's the best or it's nailed on. Obviously, being English, the media will hype it & I'm not trying to take anything away from him, but it's poor keeping, from an out of form & error-prone Hennessey. It even bounces before the keeper, it wasn't like Matt Richie vs Sunderland, which was equally good technique & the accuracy was far better, right in the top left hand corner.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
I actually forgot about Matt Richie's goal, they're as good as each other. Agree, about the actual accuracy of the finish, would a De Gea have saved Alli's shot......think he might of, whereas Ritchie's looks like it's impossible to save.

Great goals.
Wish a United player could manage a shot on target, never mind a goal like that.

Its a good goal by Alli, but it doesnt have the beauty of Bergkamp or Gascoigne's for me. Those both felt crafted and controlled; this felt pot luck and reactionary

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Which bergkamp goal? Always thought the one against Newcastle was a fluke.
Nothing wrong with a bit of off the cuff play.
Though if we are talking about all time great pl goals I might plump for di canio as I think it was unstoppable.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
The Ali goal would have been better if he had put the ball in the top corner.
Great skill, but the finish itself wasn't as good as I've seen this season.
Think Matt Ritchie's was a better finish.
Benteke's goal at Old Trafford was top notch.
Then again I don't watch as much football as most on here, so am sure most have seen others.

Are Manchester United now worse than they were under Moyes? It's surely got to be asked. They're worse off points wise.
