Nodge-Spurs could be decent (considering we can't defend and spurs are missing their best CB)

Well as long as there is beer and the hot bar made its all good.

Although the pub i go to have emplyed a blue nose, he was getting to chirpy when we played Newcastle.

Not confident tonight - Spurs turned us over comfortably at their place earlier this season, struggle to see anything but that happening tonight

Expect us to lose tonight. Shame we're on the same day as the Liverpool/Leicester game. Think today could be a huge day for the title. Sadly, I think BT expected Villa might have been making a fight of it so this would be important, but I guess they can sell the "end of Villa" story tonight if they do fail to turn up as this would surely be the end.

We play poor against, no disrespect as I know it could easily be us again soon, poor teams. Liverpool's first team? Rinse em. Youth team? Hard game. Arsenal? 2-0, ta. Bournemouth? 4-3 loss at home and a Callum Wilson hat trick. At times we have rinsed a few too, like Newcastle when they were meandering early in the season, or coming from behind to nail Bournemouth at their place, but it feels like without Lanzini or Sakho we lack movement for Payet.

Take the cup match away we are doing better in the league.

There have been a few games we have drawn, that we may have won this season.

Pleased with the team despite Ayew so far holding our own.

Could have been a different story if Ayew stayed on.

Martial is very very good, the only positive we can take out of this season, also Borthwick-Jackson looks a more than capable full back too.

Spurs a class above so far, playing us off the pitch. We have to get Ruddy back in goal soon, Rudd at fault for the first, and has been shaky again.

Villa away Saturday a must win

Coped with Leicester breaking fairly well, just need to break their defence down. If Benteke had more confidence he'd be great to throw on and whip the balls in, but I just don't think he has enough movement to make it worth it.

Really good goal, poor positioning by Mignolet and ridiculous that we're losing considering how Liverpool have dominated this game.

You've dominated the game, with one shot on goal. It's not ridiculous at all, that's how Leicester play, give up possession & will counter like Lionel Richie says 'all-night long'

Nando, in fairness to Rooney he's really stepped it up in recent weeks, the awful displays of last year have gone.

That third goal was a thing of beauty, quick incisive counter attack, lovely.
