Dolphin Ziggler wrote:It was worrying how you collapsed today. You had a really good period in the second half, scored, got scared. There was no real quality on show in the first half. Absolutely no nous from the defenders or manager when Carroll came on. Shoved two on him, left space for Payet who had been shut down reasonably well until then. Noble and Dimi just ran the game then and we should have got a third.
We've literally been like that all season tbf - just can't defend. Combination of players and manager (Neil himself has always said he doesn't like making defensive changes and I can see his reasoning but don't always agree) - to be honest I'm just happy we didn't lose in the end like you say (although we did nearly nick it ourselves)
Problem was not buying any defenders in the summer - Klose is fine, but you can't expect a back four to suddenly gel and become stout overnight in January. Needed to happen in the summer and by all accounts we weren't prepared to stump up the money for our targets

Is Mark Noble the best english player not to be capped by England at present?
Think the guy is a good player. Surprised he has never been capped

Touch of the Michael Owen falling down disease from Vardy there. Great when it happens in an Englamd shirt but against your team you're not so happy.

Not a fan of that getting a penalty. Closer to a dive than a foul.

Definite penalty, Monreal doesn't get the ball and impedes Vardy, doesn't have to be contact but refs won't give them so he buys it.

Arsenal, in particular Giroud, been hounding ref for everything. Not rating Arsenal needing a man advantage to do this. Sums up Arsenal are just an average side.

Good decision by the referee.
Excellent test of Leicester's mental fortitude now.

It is the clearest second yellow you could possibly see. Player turns and beats him, and is fouled with a blatant pull of the shirt, no attempt made to play the ball whatsoever.

Pathetic from Atkinson, wouldn't send off an Arsenal player in a similar situation.

The only mistake Atkinson has made in this half has been not booking Mahrez (?) for the dive in the box.

There you go Arsenal, couldn't do it on your own so needed the ref to bail you out.

Duty your double standards are amazing - quick to point out Leicester 'diving' and 'Chelsea style play' - not a word about Arsenal surrounding the referee after every foul.

Every team surrounds the referee - Leicester and Arsenal included.
'Chelsea-style play' wasn't actually an insult - it's the clever thing to do in these circumstances.

ignore duty on anything to do with arsenal, he's basically a biased arsenal fan without actually supporting arsenal, go figure

How any so called neutral can want Arsenal to win is beyond me, more likely that Duty is a fair weather fan who only pipes up when they're doing well.

Or more likely that Duty has some money on Arsenal to win the league, thus will shamelessly support them over the line.
