NFL Competition - Championship Week

1) Each week you will be asked to predict the scores from that weekend's games. Predictions must be made before the start of games. You can just put Thursday night's predictions down and make the rest later but please add all addition predictions in a new post. If posts are updated after the games predictions won't be counted.

2) You will be get points depending on how close you are to the actual score. Points will be awarded in the following way:-

- You will get 10 points for getting the correct match outcome.
- You will get 10 points for getting a teams score correct.
- You will lose one of those 10 points for every point you are away from a teams score. Therefore you must be within 10 points of a teams score to gain points.
- If you get a match score spot on you will be awarded double points. So if the correctly predict a matches score you will receive a maximum 60 points.

Example:-

Your prediction - Steelers 17-31 Packers
Actual result - Steelers 25-31 Packers
Your score 22 points

You would receive 10 points for correctly predicting a Packers win. As you were 8 points off the Steelers score you get 2 points for that and another 10 points for getting the Packers score spot on.

Scores are taken from final scores so after OT if OT is included. Therefore be aware if you predict a tie it will have to be a tie after OT.

Lowlandbrit finally gets a chance to outscore BamBam but in looks to have come far too late to make much of a difference in the overall leaderboard. Lowlandbrit scored 31 points for the week to take him 2658 points overall, 47 points behind BamBam and leaving him needing a correct score in the Super Bowl to have a chance of winning the competition. More realistic for Lowlandbrit would be trying to win the playoffs competition of which he is only seven points behind.

In the rest of the overall competition there is a battle for third place between crazy_dave23 and asdral225 with only 10 points separating the two.

There is also a special mention for both TM Moot and asdral225 who are the only two to have predicted a score for every game so far this year.
