John McDonald - Cheap Buffer imitator - Or class act ???

Certainly seems to get the work this guy.......Personally I've never been a great Buffer fan either though I prefer him to both Lennon Sr and Jr !!!.....Buffer has certainly made the master of ceremony job a bigger role than it's ever been..

Chucky Hull was always my favorite though.....Great voice......No frills..........

John is an old friend of the Hearns, in particular Barry, they socialise together, therefore gets the work(as you put it).....

As for the best, it is Buffer hands down, people pay hundreds of thousands for his intros

Michael Buffer is so good that he set up his brothers whole career too. Bruce Buffer does the MOC in the UFC, solely off the back of his brothers success....

Yeah, Bruce Buffer is Michael's manager and from the early 90's has done nearly all of the UFC events. He alone gets c. $30k a night plus all expenses paid so a pretty good job if you happen to be called Buffer!

I read some crazy figures about what Buffer gets for a nights work. Can't help but always think it would be better to get someone else in at a fraction of the price and divide the money saved amongst the four round professional opponents and TBCs that litter big bills.

Bruce buffer is terrible. "It's time" and a jump landing in a stomp. The UFC love him though, money for nothing. Nice work it you can get it.

Anyway, back to John McDonald...getting contact lenses and having his teeth straightened hasn't improved his ability to make me remotely interested in what he's saying
