My predictions...

Williams in 2, Kerber in 2.

Djokovic in 5.

I prefer the more accurate analysis - Djokovic too good for Federer. Returning shots Roger would take for granted as winners against mere mortals.

That is my point. Roger is far from playing shabbily he is hitting shots that against normal players they would be winners but Novak returns them. Federer then has to push the boat out further and the errors come.

That's the funny thing about tennis - the guy on the other side of the net has a contribution to make to how well you are doing.

He is. You are merely seeing the difference between the cumbersome game of Berdych compared to that of the world No.1 Djokovic.

Novak playing flawless but if someone serves well you can still hang in there. Fed's serves are missing or nowhere near the lines. When the ball is in play Novak is a God tonight

Djokovic two sets up in 54 minutes leading 6-1 6-2.

Even the commentators latching on to what I am saying. Federer surprised how his best shots are coming back with interest.

Of course if Novak drops a level or two there is still hope for Roger.

Of course. The point is though that in the all-court area he has been blasted off court.

Yeah Novak has shown something special, he reminds me of table tennis some times, where you can't work out how the ball is still in play!

Missing this as I am in work. You have to think fed will get his teeth into this match in this set, nothing is impossible but some tall order from 2 sets down. So surprised by the score as fed has been in great form and Novak has been pretty average by his standards up until this point

You do get the impression the storm is abating. If Roger can dig in here then he may be able to get a set on the board.

Fed cements the break. Now with just an hour and a half of play on the clock he must still have some life in those legs to master an assault on the fourth set.

Good hold from Federer. Has a foundation, and is showing a bit more confidence.

Djoko needs a slip on the court or something.

Federer get the job done to take the third set after 1 hour 40 minutes. At least now it is competitive.

Respectability achieved. At 6-2 6-1 even Fed's worst ever defeat was still in play.

You can forget about it getting interesting though, the result is still not in much doubt. Djokovic wins 9 times out of 10 from here.

I have to say very high quality from both players since I joined it early in the third. Enjoyable.

Game on? Maybe, but I'm expecting Djokovic to arise from his mini-slumber quite soon, so Federer needs an early break in this set.

Right - now we have respectability.

We really need more 1st serves from Fed.

It's crazy but he's now no worse off than he was in the Wimbledon and US open finals and used a lot less energy
