Re: The World League
I'm good to thanks.
I like what I have seen of that Borthwick-Jackson. TBH haven't watched much football over the last few months so a bit out of touch, and I have no idea whether he can defend.
But what I have seen of him, I have noticed that he has one hell of a cross on him.
Stick a decent striker in that United team and he would get bags of assists.

Speaking of Strikers I just looked at one I would buy on here but in real life he's injured so not sure if it would be worth it or not.

Basically stick Martial up front rather than on the wing!

Re: The World League
I've done my entire list, once Trebs sends his Star Player bid to me, and the other 2 (or 3) get their new star player bid in, I'll send my squad to BamBam then people can send their squad picks to me.

As it stands Hero and Olly will need to rebid, but please don't mention the player as Trebs is yet to bid.

Is there going to be a Premier League / Championship folder so we can put our team pages together?
I doubt we'd clash on players Hero, you have good taste in footballers.

I'm sure Azzy's going for Lukaku.
There is absolutely no bitterness on his part towards Rom. None at all. Zilch.

I must say, I'm rather looking forward to hearing about Viva's late-night conquests in local eateries; Hero's lad scoring 87 goals for Bury U14s; Marky's escapades in the dirty parts of London; Olly's attempts to talk to girls; Miky's philanthropic gestures and overall humanitarian contributions to the world; and I'd quite like to hear some of BamBam's naughty stories. He's too nice at the moment, we need to roughen him up a bit.

Cyrille Regis, all-time legend of the game, Albion icon. Played for us, Villa, Wolves, Coventry, England. He's Jason Roberts' uncle. The Diana Ross of our Three Degrees. Called my brother the best 13 year old footballer he'd ever seen. A God-fearing man who does things like WaterAid. He's the kind of guy they don't make any more.
Closest player in the modern game to Cyrille is...I won't say. Maybe after the draft.

I did end up in Shoreditch after taking in Barnet v Crawley Town in mid December, a nice establishment known as Ye Olde Ax. Google it if you want an example of the kind of pub it is.

Re: The World League
No, because the list is entitled 'Worst Midfielders to ever play for Real Madrid who aren't worth the paper they signed their contracts on and oh by the way they have terrible hair'.
Big Vic is on the 'Even Nando can run faster than these players' list, along with the afore-mentioned Grant Holt, Kurt Zouma (for a while), Rickie Lambert and Michael Carrick.
