Well blame Trebs when it gets round to voting this time and don't default win him
Let's ignore the fact I voted for him to lose in the final match day which cost him the title to Afro but hey lets not facts get in the way of your Eastern European World War 2 propaganda.

Before the league starts can we do a voting for the best XI in the league without the star players.

#Hipster
Also Azzy has a weak midfield. De Rossi is a borderline for most nowadays, Pirlo/Lampard in the MLS, Gourcuff has done nothing since 2010 that just leaves Dele Alli. So 1 injury he could have issues IMO.
Personally im not keen on Dante/Barzagli/Digne defensive wise but i suspect that changes for others
That being said in Kane & Tevez i suspect he'll be fine for goals

I actually think Azzy has the 2nd worst side in the league, half of them are borderline pensioners, if it was FIFA 10 then it would be a great side.

Clearly taking the urine.
IMO Azzy has a solid all round balanced side which I can't say the same for others. He will score goals for fun and bringing on someone like lampard in the last 15 mins = a very good chance of a goal and with Pirlo running the game it don't matter if he is playing in USA or Afghanistan he still has the quality. I'd like to see you go and get past Barzagli and Dante.

Is mine the worst? (Obviously bar Bambam who doesn't have enough players!)

Re: The World League
Barzagli I'll give you, his class remains.
Pirlo and Lampard, yeah they've taken the MLS by storm, since they joined their win ratio actually went down and they ended up with a record of W 5, D 1, L 8, finishing the season 8th out 10 teams.
Others? Digne, failed at PSG, had to be loaned on with option to buy. Holtby, just failed.
Maggio, barely gets a sniff in the Napoli set up nowadays because he's been usurped by that lad I mentioned and no-one had a flipping clue who he was, but of course Maggio will get more votes because most people don't actually bother to look into how players are currently performing past Match of the Day on a Saturday night, same with Dele Ali over Weigl, both playing exceptionally well for their respective clubs, one's 2nd in the Premier League, one's 2nd in the Bundesliga, which will get more votes, hmm.

I'm not sure a list that has Hector Bellerin and Raheen Sterling ahead of Stones/Zouma/Barkley/Alli etc can be taken seriously
Anyways from what I've seen of both Alli is the better player at this moment in time in my eyes. He was incredible when I saw him live, like a man amongst boys at times

Re: The World League
Sterling maybe, hopefully Pep will help him get back on track after a poor season or two
Bellerin is ok - but I see a poorer Bacary Sagna being his ultimate peak
Gimme some Kurt Zouma anyday over him (although it'll be interesting to see how he ACL injury effects his athleticism when he's back)

Re: The World League
Sterling's big fault is that he far too often at present is using his first touch to slow the play down and bring the ball back rather than give options of taking it forward into space or attacking the defence.

Re: The World League
I don’t know about you guys but I’m glad Varane is high on that list.
Usually on lists like that you see more of the flair players that tend to be at the top and that’s understandable but he deserves to be up there for sure.

I also think he's lost a lot of confidence after all the fuss around his move - just needs to get back to what he was doing in that season they came 2nd

You could argue a case for Deulofeu to be included too
Bobby Martinez has taken the mantle for most underperforming manager of the season now Mourinho has got the chop. That squad should be top 6 this season

Surprised Donnarumma isn't in there, 16 years old and already AC Milan main keeper.

Yeah my sorry excuse of a squad will need some work
Interesting to see how many deals are done, given we've all handpicked these players in theory
