Interesting to see how many deals are done, given we've all handpicked these players in theory
Plot twist: we're all picking each other's squads.

Really?
Coman and Sane two of the best talents in Germany, Sanches linked to Utd over the last few weeks, Iheanacho is surely obvious

Viva is the Kenny Daglish of the league but Liverpool of 2011 not the decent one. Explains why he rates Azzy's team

Potential wins you nothing. Why not have a team that is for today and builds for tomorrow. Maybe I'll be laughing in 2 or 3 years but I suspect most of them will be playing for someone else by then!

Re: The World League
I knew about Ozil, Draxler, Gotze, Meyer, Hummels etc well before they grew their first pube because they were some players. Sane is the Schalke lad? Conman sorry no clue whatsoever.
Dybala? I don't watch Austrian third division Football.

Sounds a bit wrong
You're right on Sane, the one linked with City for squillions .. Coman is starting for Bayern a fair bit ..
Assume Dybala comment is a joke!

Please can all you suckers listen to Afro.
I feel in these games young potential players are voted on what they can achieve in a few years time rather than what they're doing today in 2016.
There are some cases where these lads are proving it today but most are potential and won't hit it until a few years time.

Is it because Utd aren't in the CL anymore you don't know these players?

Afro thoughts on Azzarina's side since your impartial and everyone has talked about it anyway.

See it as a mixed bag.
Some of it is players who are past their best, some of it is older players still doing the business, some are young players playing well and some are young players who were flashes in the pan a few years ago.
I have no idea where that sits versus the rest of you as I haven't looked at the rest of the squads in any detail.

Not 100% sure on Trebs' bids, need to check when I'm back on the laptop, but the only clash I'm aware of is;
Marko Arnautovic
Both Olly and Viva bid £6m, both need to send a rebid for him via PM to me.

Re: The World League
It is a mix of looking at potential and who is good at the moment. I agree with viva that some young players are overhyped after a good bit of form, but then i also agree with hero that some people don't look at current form and go for class of yesteryear.
It is difficult to strike that balance. For instance, today I would rather Cavani in my team than say Dybala or Martial. But i think those two players have the potential to be special, but in this league right now I have to give Cavani a higher rating.

Re: The World League
I'd have to agree with Trebs. It's not like Martial has actually shown any world class form yet, Dybala I don't know if the same applies. World class potential isn't the same as playing consistently at a world class level even if it's highly likely they will do.

I just don't see how either of Martial or Dybala can be judged better than Cavani.

I'd say being the 2nd best player in the Juve team (after Pogba) is better than being the 3rd or 4th best in the PSG team (after Ibra, Verratti & Silva).

Re: The World League
I think the fact that he went for £50-60m to PSG didn't help that though do you think? If he was rated at like 20-30
I think he would get a lot more credit, maybe because of the higher price tag people just associate him as the expensive player who hasn't done enough to justify 60m but I would argue that 60m is a lot to live up to in his defence.

Sorry but that is silly logic. You can't say that being the best player in one team makes you better than someone in the next team who is say the second best even if the teams are similar. It's like me saying Martial, because he's been United's 2nd best player this season is better than David Silva because he's only been city's 5th best player

Dybala is way OP on fifa 16 ultimate team. Got upgraded from a 78 to an 81 this week. Cavani is too busy licking Ibrahimovic's balls (as said by Serge Aurier)

Re: The World League
Both sides are pretty similar in level, both top of their respective leagues, both in the 2nd tier of CL teams after the big three, it's not an unreasonable comparison.Trebs wrote:Hero wrote:I'd say being the 2nd best player in the Juve team (after Pogba) is better than being the 3rd or 4th best in the PSG team (after Ibra, Verratti & Silva).
Sorry but that is silly logic. You can't say that being the best player in one team makes you better than someone in the next team who is say the second best even if the teams are similar. It's like me saying Martial, because he's been United's 2nd best player this season is better than David Silva because he's only been city's 5th best player

What do you all make of Aurier's latest shenanigans? I think his PSG career is finished tbh. How stupid can you get

I'm not saying that comparing Juve to PSG is wrong.
I'm saying that way of judging players is wrong.

Ok, I'll just say that Dybala is better than Cavani then.Trebs wrote:I'm not saying that comparing Juve to PSG is wrong.

Re: The World League
Personally I would have to say Cavani is better. Dybala is young so has plenty of potential to go on and be one of the best strikers, potentially even more so than Cavani.
