Scotland however are looking a bit more like it.  got to stop trying to maul tho - if Clancy is allowing a lot of freedom in the mauls then we have to not use them
What happened to Maitland?

Nope. Scotland can win this game - on their own terms.

Wales have no plan B so we had better start playing our plan A. Sorry, but we have underestimated Scotland and are making them look better than they are.

Costly error from Williams.

The Welsh tactics are confusing, particularly when one considers how well they started.

The problem is the poor decision making when going out wide. If I were to have a drink each time I heard Jonathan Davies groan when he saw an overlap butchered by Roberts or one of the forwards taking the ball into contact, I would probably wake up in a hospital bed.

Tom James is still a waste of time, clueless. Scotland are going to win this doing very little.

Can I just check a point of law - if a player moves towards the ball from an offside position after a kick before being run onside by other players isn't that a penalty offence?

Possibly via an interception... Wales look like they might give one away, this expansive style is reckless to be honest. I'd rather win through brutal attrition than play like this from this point.

Scotland will probably need to do more than crash into the Welsh team like that. Warburton, Lydiate, Roberts, and Faletau are all on the field and their hitting us close to the rucks. Silly idea.

So why didn't they ping the 9 for the first Welsh try - he was miles in front of the kicker and moved forwards a long way before being finally run onside just before Roberts knocked the ball back to him.  They even went to the TMO to look for a knock on (there wasn't one) but didn't seem bothered about him running forwards to a position to take the knock back from Roberts long before he was put on side ...

In theory yes.

Didn't interfere with play until he was put onside

He wasn't put inside. Even Martyn Willisms said it should not have been given

And it's Clancy. He normally uses a stick and dark glasses when he's on the field, he probably lost them before this game though.
