Promoters Missing A Trick
I always felt that Maloney (and Eliades) missed a trick in not landing Lennox Lewis a fight against Michael Moorer. Moorer was tailor-made for Lennox and a quick (most probably violent) win would have helped to boost his profile in the US (before he did it himself against Golota).
Anyone else have any examples of promoters missing a trick?

If Maloney finds peace in changing gender good luck to him.....A brave individual.....
I suppose it depends on when Lewis fought Moorer ??......Not sure Moorer was ever that marketable and Foreman brought a lot more money to the table than Lennox.........
But his name would look good on his record...Not an Earth shattering win for me though......
Bowe is the big void in Lewis record............Not that it's his fault........He'd definitely be top 10 if he'd beat an unbeaten Bowe....
I'd pick Bowe to beat an awkward Correa-Lewis but lose to a Steward-one...
Bowe missed a trick....

Probably when he regained the IBF belt (before Holyfield took him to the cleaners in the rematch).

Maloney again but I do think that David Price could've beat Fury when the fight was on the cards. It appeared Fury did the running away at the time but I do feel they could've done more to make it happen. Would've been his best chance to beat Fury. Fury beats him comfortably now in my opinion.

It's a brave thing for anybody to go through what Maloney has.....
Not only does it involve family upheavel..isolation...They also have to run the gauntlet of hostile, spiteful, ignorant muppets everytime they leave the house....
Regardless of the UKIP stuff.....and unfortunate quote..
I think he's brave......Many transgender people aren't gay...

Re: Promoters Missing A Trick
From that article...
"If you are homosexual, you are homosexual - just get on with your life and stop bitching about things"
Frank Maloney
Same goes for transgender folk though Frank/Kellie...whilst I applaud your decision to be open about your personal story, you can't tell homosexuals to get on with it and then bleat about the difficulties of being transgender in modern society. Make you a hypocrite if nothing else.

Didn't suggest he was gay, but moreover the point he makes about "morals" stating that two men holding hands in the street is wrong and shouldn't be on public display.
However he now parades around in his cross gender regalia, which I have no issue with whatsoever, but can see how Mr Maloney now reaps what he sows.
He felt he was on point about peoples public behaviour then, and he was not. Same way he should be accepted today but is not.
No sympathy and certainly not a brave individual, tell that to the gay community of Camden in 2004.

I don't applaud his decision to show his meat and two veg being lopped off on a C5 documentary. Shudder.

Yes, you have tried to defend the indefensible without knowing anything about Maloney's past. That is all.

With all his oyster bar talk, you'd assume truss was guy-sexual. I'm buggered if I know what that means.
