I'm more interested in if the bidding is going to be a free for all, or a "bid for one player" kind of routine... Either way, I could easily see bids for players going through with no competition because most rosters are full / 1 place free and there isn't a huge amount of talent there...

Right, once Twelve makes the final pick, the draft will be complete, but I thought I'd make some progress on the auction etc

You will all see that you have had a "Taxi Squad" added to your rosters, with 5 available spots. Your rookie draft picks have been added to the squad, so if you've made 5 picks (CJB), your taxi squad is full up. I've also removed any players that were still listed as on injured reserve

Please can you all check that I've added you the correct rookies and let me know if not

If you wish to immediately add your rookies to the main roster, you can obviously do so to fill out your roster, which must meet the usual rules

Roster Requirements
1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 3 RB/WR/TE, 1 K
Totals
22: 10 Starters, 12 Bench, +4 IR

1-8 QBs
4-10 RBs
5-10 WRs
1-6 TEs
1-3 Kickers

Each team will receive a budget of $100 for the blind bid auction. You can bid on as many or as few players as you want, up to the maximum number of 22 in the main squad plus 5 players in your taxi squad - 27 total roster spots

At this point, each squad is split as below - main squad, taxi squad, maximum bids in blind bid auction

Bam - 18 main squad, 3 in taxi - 21 total, so up to 6 bids in blind bid auction
Mikey - 19, 2, 6 bids
Crazy_dave - 17, 4, 6 bids
Forward Pass - 18, 3, 6 bids
CJB - 19, 5, 3 bids
Wadey - 17, 2, 8 bids
Twelve - 19, 1, 7 bids
Olly - 19, 3, 7 bids
Pr4wn - 17, 3, 7 bids
TM Moot - 16, 3, 8 bids

Wednesday is my last day at my current job, and I am going to be on holiday for two weeks returning on 6 June - I would like to receive all the bids in the auction by the time I return on 6 June

I will not open any of your messages until I have sent my list of bids to someone who has already sent in their bids

With your $100 budget, you can send in up to your maximum number of bids for any player available in the league (once I've added twelve's last draft pick to his squad). You must not bid a total of more than $100. If you can't add up to $100, I will reduce your highest bids by however much is necessary to get back to $100

Please rank your bids in order from 1 - 8, up to your maximum.

The highest $ bid wins, in the event of a tie, the manager who has ranked that player higher on their list of bids wins.

In the unlikely event that both managers have bid the same amount and ranked the player the same, I will PM each asking for a new bid based on how much of the $100 budget remains for each manager after the auction is complete

Once the auction is complete, all players that you have successfully bid for will be added to your squad / taxi squad, wherever there is space. You will all then be given a deadline to reduce your squad to the original requirements, the taxi squads will be deleted and all players remaining will be available as free agents

Yep... just one round I assume and then a free for all?

Also... technically the rosters allow you to add people off FA at the moment which you might want to lock... case in point, I just snuck in and added Brett Favre in case he comes out of retirement Wink

Roster requirements:

At that point, I will reduce your squads for you, on the basis of last in first out - so you will lose your rookies / free agent wins if you don't meet squad requirements! I think I can send this as an email to the league, so will also do that in case anyone isn't checking the board

Your taxi squads will be removed at that point, and all free agents become available - please check who is on your taxi squad as I may have had to move some players to make space for your additions
