Re: The World League II
I will do lawyers tomorrow morning
100 Words is too little to get a game plan across really, It's just becoming a JA best XI league
150-200 would be more suitable (pretty sure that's what it was last time we had a limit)

I'd agree, would say 200 including subs, everything as a compromise? Literally you get xi and subs bench list then 200 words beyond that. If you want to use half talking up your subs, so be it

Nando / Olly - I've sent my tactics in for Week 2 already. Just in case I go off. Hope you have a good game Olly xx
Best of luck to you too - will do 100 word tactics no matter what we decide as you've done yours already too
I think 150 would be fine for tactics words

I have done mine as 100 words on the dot - however Olly, if this changes, I honestly don't mind if you change yours to be longer. I'm not in this to win games, as evidenced by my geriatric team.

Re: The World League II
Changing it now wouldn't be fair on everyone. So changing the word limit after Week 1 would have to be a unanimous decision.

Re: The World League II
Have to agree with Marky on this, akin to last season we can't make a change to it once it's begun on this scale unless everyone wants in.

Yeah 100 words was a mission doing as I had to cut out some important info. 200 seems logical.

Guys can someone have a word with Marky? I know he put in a lot of work running the league and all, but he's left a very insulting offer for Rashford on my page, how am I meant to respond to that?

I can see the similarities. Rashford is Macheda v3, just several years later (James Wilson being v2).

Re: The World League II
"It's not easy to compare Pogba and Dybala. They have different positions on the pitch, but I really think Dybala has been the more incisive player in Serie A this season.
"Dybala has become the leader of the team, not only because he has scored more but in his influence on the side. I can firmly say his performances have been to a higher standard than Pogba, and more consistently."
That's my fave bit

Re: The World League II
Yeah I rate him highly. He's being compared to Tevez who was Juve’s best players last season. But a whole lot better looking.
"Dybala is very similar to Tevez in his style of play. He can play as a classic striker or as a forward free to roam on the flanks or in the middle, where I think he is best.
"He is in and out of defenders, never giving them a reference point as to where he will move next, both with and without the ball.
"Like Tevez, he is useful in the non-possession phase, pressing opponents high up the pitch.
"He is lethal in one-on-ones with the goalkeeper, has a superb first touch in front of goal and will shoot before the 'keeper has had a chance to set himself, like his goal against Manuel Neuer in the Champions League last week."

I have the two top goalscorers in the league. Cavani and Aboubakar can go for monster offers, as they are monster players.
El Ghazi could also go for the right deal. I'm after a winger.

I don't think he can operate as the exclusive striker, think he needs someone to bounce off which is why I'm pairing him up with Martial as I reckon IRL that'd be a great combination.

Yeah that's a good partnership. Martial needs to play more centrally irl though if you want him to get higher ratings than on the left wing though.
