Rules;
£150m budget with to be spent on anybody based on their value on TM.
Draft system to build the squads.
Squad to be between 20-25 players, no more, no less.
Tactics short, teamsheet, substitutes, 100 words of tactics, few sentences for substitutions.
Everybody votes or lose a goal from their score, just scores and scorers acceptable although feedback is encouraged.
Choose your own real life team name although this will have no bearing on the players you can or can't sign.

Structure;

8 fixtures per team, 4 at home, 4 away. Two relegated from the Premier League, two promoted from the Championship.
3rd place in both leagues will playoff for the right to play in the Premier League.

I'd be mad not to sell but there's two things niggling me with it.

1. Benfica have a good chance of reaching the CL 1/4 finals and he may therefore get more exposure to those on here who don't rate him yet.
2. I really rate him! If I get rid then who do I replace him with that's better AND fits my team ethos of aged 23 and younger?

Plenty better, the team ethos can adapt but if you like him that much keep him.

Also exposure on here will only go so far. He might get a goal vote but would him being in the team really turn losses into draws and draws into wins? Or could that money be spent on a bigger name midfielder who would do that?

Waiting on Viva's results so I can add £1m for tactics and sign someone...

In the interest of not rushing him, any issue if us Championship managers add £1m for tactics?

To some people he'll be the underused and somewhat failed Man Utd player.
To some he'll be the Bundesliga Player of the Month 3 times in a row.

Disagree with Hero. To everyone he's the Bundesliga Player of the Month, but my question is, is he showing his world class ability or is he just on very good form?

I don't think to everyone he's the Bundesliga Player of the Month at all. Not wishing to sound disparaging but as far as I'm aware some people have little to no viewing of the Bundesliga of late.

Alex Meier is a proper player. One of my favourites along with Kevin Kampl and Gonzalo Castro. To be honest Nando I like your team a lot.

We figured that by the deals

Love both of the players you've bought, Aubameyang was one I used to buy until Afro used to poo poo him (as he used to with Falcao).

Aubameyang is a great player now.

Problem is people seem to think that him being good now automatically means he was equally good when he played in France.

same with Falcao, he was overrated back then. But conversely it would be like saying he was rubbish 5 years ago because he is rubbish now.

Aubameyang was pretty decent back then tbf, though very old dimensional with his game and was Sterlingesque on his shot conversion.

Point is he wasn't the player then that he is now. Exactly as you suggested made the most of his pace
