Re: The World League II
I sent mime in to olly.
I've just looked back and some of the United chants were nasty last night, but how many Liverpool fans do you hear singing about Munich.
There's bad fans in every fanbase, its a question of what sort of chanting is appropriate and how do you police it. Most chants have swearing in them, should they all be banned?

Re: The World League II
I'd say 99% of people who use "Manure" to reference "Man U" aren't doing it to have a dig at Duncan Edwards or any of the Busby Babes, it's just because Manure sounds a bit like Man U and it's saying Man U are sh*t.
And I'm almost certain Viva knows that but still uses it as a stick to beat Nadz with because Nadz rightly criticised the Man U fans last night.

I back this up 100%.
I had no idea it was a reference to Duncan Edwards. It isn't in my case. It's because it sounds a bit like Man U and implies their Poopie. A bit like Liverpoo.
I don't think it can be thought of as a reference to Edwards anymore. It has moved on from being that imo

I don't think for a second that Nads meant it in that sense
Aeroplane wings, chants etc from both sides are sick, but it does seem to me that the misdoings of Liverpool fans are glossed over by the media

I never knew it was a reference to Edwards until this morning and just thought it was a dig at us being s**t, which we are.

Re: The World League II
Liverpool fans are just deluded.
If you wanted my generalisms, and even if you don't, here's how I consider different sets of fans (by no means all or even a majority though):
Liverpool - most blinkered, rose tinted.
Man Utd - most spoilt/ precious (can't hear a bad word about their team)
Everton - most deluded about size of their club
Chelsea - worst place to visit as an away fan as they are nasty. Most chavvy.
Stoke - nearly on a par with Chelsea.
Best set of fans from an away trip - West Ham

Re: The World League II
Apologies to anyone that was offended by my words, even if viva took them out of context like he always does It might just be me but I like giving nicknames to teams to take the urine out of them. Teams like Arseanal, Chelski, Farcelona and Manchester Sh*tty are just other to examples etc. But viva is from Bumingham , the city you get your back doors smashed in

Re: The World League II
Every team where proof can be found that their fan/fans threw a coin at a player or official:FIFA Diva wrote:How about fans who throw coins at players? Where do you stand on that Azzy?
- £100,000 fine
- Loss of any points earned from that fixture
- Life ban for fan or, if fan cannot be identified, stadium closure for first home game of following season
Repeat offenders would get the following increases:
- £250k fine (2nd time), £500k fine (3rd time), £1m fine (4th and subsequent times)
- Loss of any points earned in that fixture, plus one additional point deducted
- Stadium closures - two games, three games, four games etc.
If the fan is found to be of a different team - say, a Villa fan throwing a coin from the West Brom end - Villa would be punished with the fine and life ban for the fan / stadium ban, with Albion also fined for failing to control fans but not losing their points.

Re: The World League II
Albion fans have been atrocious towards United in the past. If that Edwards one is true, shame on us. I've been at The Hawthorns when we've done the Dambusters theme with our arms out wide - only team we've ever done that to is United, singing 'yam yam yam yam yam yam yam yam yam', which is a local dialect but doesn't make the act okay.
My son wants to be an Arsenal fan anyway.

I remember when Swansea were in the same league as Macc, one of the few games as a Macc fan where the opposing fans tore up the town on the way back to the train station (other time being Oxford Utd fans).

Amazing midfield but I worry in regards to physicality (despite Verratti being a terrier), still perhaps a tad light in attack, defence is run of the mill.

Much friendlier when we went to Swansea. Might have been because it was a hot sunny day and the game had nothing riding on it. Very relaxed, summer holiday type atmosphere.
Miky - I know. I'm hoping England win, but it's going to be close. Wales are a tough team.

Re: The World League II
I know. I'm not confident TBH. We have a virus sweeping through the squad and going to be missing a handful of usual starters. Plus we'll probably go two nil up, Martinez will take off our best two players and bring on a couple of extra wingers and we'll lose 3-2

Miky, I think you need a physical midfielder and a right winger to improve. The side is getting stronger though.

Thanks for the feedback both.
Yeah Afro I'm not always confident of going to Goodison, you are usually good at home whenever we play you so I always expect it to be tough.

Miky - our form at Goodison is shocking this year. 16 points from 15 league games!!!!
Viva - first stage has already started but the big boys start next week 16th. Gayle and Afridi yes. Sangakarra has retired. Asif the cheat not playing.

Just got Janssen in as back up striker, surprised no one else has snapped him up, 13 goals in his last 10 games.

Re: The World League II
Lukaku, despite his big frame he danced through the Chelsea box for a joke. Payet goal was mad, to beat a keeper of De gea class from that range takes some doing.
If United don't win the FA Cup I hope Everton do, I would hate to see a London based team win it.
