I totally understand that the majority of you may dislike or have never seen any form of Independent Wrestling so turn a blind eye to it but I truly believe this is such a powerful promo hyping something that we all share here...

This is Mike Quackenbush, founder of Chikara Pro and I quite frankly consider him to be one of the best storytellers in the business. Enjoy.

Why wouldn't they still be in business?

WWE need these kinds of promotions to act as a breeding ground for talent, its part of the development process

Nothing in WWE's MO for the past 35 years suggests that they will do anything other than swallow them up and shut them down

You mean like giving money to ECW? Working with the likes of ECW, NWA and promotions like OVW in the past?

UK scene is in a boom period so who knows how long it will last.

Clearly a cap on the heights the promotions here can reach but i think their fanbases will stick around even with a WWE alternative. WCPW teaming up with NJPW and ROH was the smartest move they've made

If the UK scene is smart it will survive and might actually use this to flourish further. They need to make sure, that is if they want to, not to take the quicker money and lose independence
