If anyone is watching, surely what a shoulder charge by the French winger...

Ref has spoke with his TMO and sends French winger to the bin for high, no-arms tackle.

Think the French are slightly bigger, hugest team at U20 level I've ever seen. Their 13 is also a big lump. The French centres are good players, and look very much like the classy French centres of old.

French winger got a second yellow for a clumsy trip - I feel a bit sorry for him. It made the difference in what was a one point game between two evenly matched sides, with a very 'French' performance from France U20s.
Wales 16 - 10 France. Billy McBryde a deserved MOTM. Wales unbeaten and should be favourites to finally take the title this year, seeing as our bogey team England apparently lost to Ireland at home.

England have lost 2 now (Ireland and Scotland no hope of winning it). Ours to lose now. Grand Slam on the cards.

That was a good win; I also felt bad for the French winger, didn't look malicious, more a clumsy panicked reflex type of thing.
Some good boys coming through, Billy McBryde looks a good prospect.

Pretty good win, yeah. That was a good France outfit. I think Wales U20 had better players last year, but they were poorly coached - it showed in the results. Does anyone know if Jason Strange was involved last year too?

Pretty sure that it was him last year too.
Anyone know of any decent highlights or full match online? Can't get S4C out here in Oz!

That's the BBC highlights, I don't know if it will work in Oz.

A minute and a half highlights reel doesn't do the match any justice, best I could find, your welcome tho.

Great game great result - Lots of skills in the welsh side to compensate for the power of the French - we were clinical when it mattered. A win for the coaches this one IMO

It's impressive considering Keelan giles and Reuben Morgan-Williams are still eligible for under 18's and theres a lot of last years under 18's graduates in the under 20's

Re: Wales U20 vs France U20 S4C
France were good, a lot of their forwards were as big as Beard, though Beard was the one running around making himself noticed. I think we have another Ian Evans on our books. As I also said the performance by France was very French. One moment they were scintillating with ball in hand and always willing to try anything, the next moment they were dropping balls and passing into touch. The turning point I feel was the red card. After that Wales dropped off and it looked like France could still win it. After we scored our try their play became more erratic. So finally a bit of luck has come our way - it's a shootout between these two teams for the title, but if Wales beat England next weekend then I would back us to do the slam.
