33/1 on England to win the Euros and Harry Kane to be the top scorer overall.
I wonder.

Coutinho has been fantastic this second half. If he can start getting more consistent with age he'll be one of the top players in the league.

Very good game to watch. Disappointed not to get the win, but seeing as we could have easily lost it I suppose I shouldn't be.

Bit more consistency next season and we could be where Spurs are now (weeping as the title disappears over the horizon)

Robbed by the ref today as that weren't a red. But we always struggle with Palace at home. Top four was slim anyway and gone now. Payet's freekick is so good it's scary

Bit of luck with the third goal and the handball not being given, but that's the kinda luck that we haven't had all season.
Fabulous save by Ruddy at 2-2 crucial too. He's been much better since coming back into the side.
Timm Klose took a few games to find his feet but he's been monumental for the past five or so games. Far too good for us

What a turn around for Norwich.
Newcastle have some winnable games but they'll need to win em all and the difficult ones too.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
One of the more incredible things about Leicester is how consistent their first choice eleven has been. Barely ever change it or mix it up yet teams can never handle them. Most title challengers end up switching and swapping players, but the last time I remember such a clear first choice eleven for the title winners was with Arsenal's Invincibles. Also somewhat ironic that managed by the Tinkerman he's not tinkered all season.

Most title challengers are in Europe and Leicester were knocked out of both cups early enabling them to be consistent with their selection.

It's still interesting that their approach and tactics are the same every match yet nobody appears to know how to counter it.

There's always an excuse if it's not one of the big boys.
Everton have become so Martinez it hurts. Nothing to play for so offer nothing. Hope they go down when Lukaku leaves

It's not an excuse but the reality of it Dolph, Leicester deserve the title if they do indeed win it but don't overlook the benefit of not being in Europe has had on their season.

Aye, Liverpool's title tilt a couple of seasons ago was helped immensely by it. Shame we didn't spend that free time learning how to defend!Hammersmith harrier wrote:It's not an excuse but the reality of it Dolph, Leicester deserve the title if they do indeed win it but don't overlook the benefit of not being in Europe has had on their season.

I hope those scumbags tweeting Jamie Vardy today get their comeuppance. Scum is the only word I can think of for them.

Pretty sick alright.
You do run the risk sadly of these people saying stuff like that when you post pictures of your kids on social media.
Thats not to say you shouldnt do it.
Its a shame these people exist though.

Lost this game on formation and selection. Three centre backs been exposed and Carroll shouldn't start

Back in the day Liverpool were playing Chelsea and I moaned like a byatch at Patrick Berger starting the game.
He went on to score a hat-trick. Happens to us all.

Andy Carroll for En-ger-land! He'd certainly make a better impact than Rooney.

Never been so happy to be wrong!
Got four players there who should be more than banging on the door for England. If Milner makes the squad for versatility then Antonio is a right winger and a right back

Just seen Villa line up.
Dreadful. Richardson starting left wing.
Westwood still starting.
Am down in Truro, going to a mates wedding later.
Will more than likely be relegated today, break down in Cornwall will take my mind off it.

Win that with a competent/non-biased ref.

Well, we've had 4 red cards rescinded of our last 7 so I'm constantly finding myself annoyed with officials. I believe in big club bias, although I don't believe it's a conscious thing.

Yeah Newcastle are gone.
Imagine it will be a scramble between Newcastle and Villa to try and get Nigel Pearson.

cracking strike from andros, way too late though. Palace beating Norwich, so we're six points adrift, with six to play as it stands

Ah that's the Norwich city I know - most predictable loss of he season so far - least I made some money off it

Suspect its Norwich or Sunderland now. Benitez hasn't sparked a thing.

Benitez hasn't really done a lot of note in a decade, he's probably got one more duff job in him before he gets to barge pole territory.

Not that I disagree, but Newcastles problems are at owner level. A lot of good names have been manager under Ashley, none have panned out

A lot of the blame has to go to Mclaren who didn't get anything out of some talented players; Wijnaldum and Mitrovic were both good buys.

Sounds like Wij played as one of the deeper two with Shelvey today; I'd hope that's wrong as it offers no protection and doesn't get enough from the strengths to two players

Shame the players haven't put the effort in and the board didn't care either, ruined the club.
