Shelvey dropped & the in form Mitrovic on the bench. Losing Rafa will be no big loss, if this decision backfires

A ref is either impartial or he isn't.
Sorry Ent, that is a nonsense comment.
Shall we only recruit referees that hate football. As long as referees are kept clear of games they could be perceived to be biased, then theres no real issue.
It is basically doubting their character, they can either ref games or they can't. I'd have left him on that game, he's a professional.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
You can't have a Leicester fan refereeing a Tottenham game at this stage of the season, he may not be deliberately biased but he could subconsciously.

Then he can't ref in the premier league.

I actually don't doubt that he would be professional.
But lets say he awards a last minute penalty against Spurs that costs them the game that is a 50:50 decision or worse. There'll be no shortage of people crying bias

it's 3-0 Townsend. That's also a six goal swing in our favour on norwich.

Embarrassing to only beat Villa 1-0 at home, got the goal then did bugger all else for the rest of the game, pathetic.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
We played better second half.
Actually showed a bit of fight.
Well it's good bye premiership, hello championship.
Always hoped this day would never come, but it's been coming for a few years.
Had some great seasons in the premiership.
There also goes the oldest fixture in the top flight(if I'm correct).
Shocking season.
Sad day, but hopefully we will get it right and bounce straight back.
Am off to Villa park next Saturday.
Gotta keep the support going.
We are down, but never out.
VTID.

That's great and all, but Sunderland are surely the bigger threat to you? We're pretty much in need of a minor miracle with Klose out now

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Maybe, but Sunderland got Arsenal (h), Stoke (a), Chelsea (h), Everton (h) & Watford (a). I can't see more than four points there, would give them 34 points.
Norwich got Arsenal (a), Man U (h), Watford (h) & Everton (a). I can see you beating Watford & maybe a point elsewhere, which would give you 35 points.
We got 28, so would need another seven points. I think we can beat Palace at home & Villa away. That's six. Then we would need a point from Man C (h), Liverpool (a) or Tottenham (h).

I think Sunderland will get 7pts from those remaining games personally

Kamikaze defending by Norwich was the difference between the two sides in the end.
Your home games are certainly entertaining, Olly!

Can't complain about it! Always have a go at least - without Klose our defence is just a shambles. Thus his injury is the end of us

Slightly weakened team today with Lanzini and Carroll both getting a rest. Should be interesting but it looks like a team for hard work with a sprinkle of pace and creativity in Moses and Payet

Irony is here that I think for Vardys first yellow he was the victim of some simulation.

Looked like a penalty to me, there's seem to be a desire to show leniency when these decisions go against Leicester.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
You do actually fall forward when you're pulled not backwards, it's the release that causes the fall.
