Indy Promotions Discussion Thread
First topic message reminder :
Thought I'd create a thread for those who are interested in the Indy wrestling fed Ring of Honor to discuss or post any news referring to the company.
Probably won't be too busy on here but just thought i'd post a link to the ROH website to start some discussion.
http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/june-2nd-newswire-2/
It's been announced that the ROH Tag Titles will be defended at Best In The World 2011 by TWGTT against The Briscoes, The All Night Express AND The Kings of Wrestling in a Fatal Four Way Elimination match. That will be Tag Team wrestling at its finest.
I am also incredibly looking forward to the World Title bout between Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards. I can see Richard's stealing this one.
What are everyone elses thoughts?

Punk/Ziggler/Bryan arent much bigger and that certainly hasnt hindered there WWE careers thus far.
I think he would be a great fit personally and I like him a lot defo the best thing to come out of CZW for a while and shows they arent just hardcore spot monkeys as he has shown with his hard hitting style. only time will tell if he is something they are looking for at present.

Corey Graves & Max Bauer defeated Trent Barreta & Ben Sacilly. Debut of two top independent wrestlers here. Max Bauer is wrestling under the name he used for Chaotic Wrestling and New England Championship Wrestling, while Ben Sacilly is former Dragon Gate star PAC.'.
However they are also saying he might be using his real name which is Ben Satterley and they just misheard.
Im afraid Ben Sacilly is definitely correct

The #7LevelsOfHate series is over and Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana has emerged victorious. However, due to a decision by the new NWA Board of Governors, the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship was not on the line. Exclusively here, watch the emotional aftermath to #7LevelsOfHate uncut, featuring some candid comments from both "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce and Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana.

Basically it's them telling the NWA to shove it not sure if legit or not tbh wouldn't blame them if was legit no idea what their doing nowadays

PWG News
The next show is a double header "All Star Weekend 9" and takes place on the weekend of March the 22nd & 23rd.
With the likes of El Generico no longer being able to compete in PWG there will be an influx of new talent coming in. Making their debuts in the company wil be recently released ex-WWE star Trent Baretta, Johnny Gargano, Jay Lethal, AR Fox & Samuray Del Sol. Also making his long waited return inside a PWG ring will be Paul London!
The main event for Night 1 on 22nd has already been announced as Sami Callihan takes on Drake Younger in a Guerrilla Warfare Match! They are currently in a #1 contenders 2 out of 3 series with the scores tied at 1-1.
I can't wait to see what else PWG has in store!
