Shannon Briggs has come to London, in another video has an argument outside of Buckingham Palace with some woman. I have to say, if he fights Haye, which is the only true possibility, then at the very least the build up will be utterly hilarious.

He is a funny guy, but unfortunately, he no longer has it. But he is an entertainer and he always gives it his best in the ring I guess and does have a whack. I'd prefer Briggs to Malik Scott, purely down to Scott has no chin whatsoever and will be done in 1 almost certainly.

I don't find him entertaining.....and hopefully the BBBC won't grant him a licence..

He looks about 90 year old now and probably fights like one.

Sad thing is that Briggs' self promotion is more high profile than whoever it is that represents Haye at the minute. I appreciate that after his time out and the Wlad stinker Haye was unlikely to get a massive deal with Hearn or Warren but it's to be hoped that any deal he's made is on a short term basis to allow him to switch promoters if his performances gain some positive feedback.

Don't really want to see him fight Briggs and really hope he doesn't even entertain the idea. Let Briggs fight David Price or someone like that instead.

Appreciate Haye wants to take all the earnings being a self promoter - can see his overall goal is to fight Joshua in a massive pay day. Think Haye would've been better swallowing his pride signing a couple a fight deal with Matchroom maybes appear on Joshua's undercard.

His last fight was promoted by two brothers who no-one, not even their Mum, has heard of. Do they have the experience, and more importantly, THE MONEY, to lure big fighters over for Haye to make a serious tilt at the title?

Think it was fine wasn't it like 3 million odd people watched his last fight, I don't think he's overly bothered about the credibility of his opponents at this moment in time. It's all a set up for a Joshua fight.

Im not sure what to make of Briggs. I assumed he had comeback doing his thing because he needed the cash and wanted to drum up some profile. However the air-miles he has racked up on top of a 2 year pursuit of Klitschko around the globe means that he would probably only be breaking even at this rate if he ever did get his title shot. Somebody must sponsoring this guy to travel around the world half naked shouting "Lets go champ".
