I regret not buying Vardy tbh. I spent way too much on Aguero and that has left me weak in other positions. Viva got himself a bargain there.

Ousmane Dembele
Fosu-Mensah
Guedes

I really wanted Kante, thought he was so underpriced but after buying Pogba couldn't justify that much money in midfield

A few I took a punt on like Coric and Barbossa, I think they will be stars but currently they're just not getting enough exposure to have justified the purchase.

Yep United end but I've gave the ticket to my brothe too much hassle trying to sell it on twitter.
No worries. I'm in Swindon that afternoon for a family birthday and was thinking whether I could abandon the wife and kids and make it to Wembley.
Hope it's better than the last United-Everton semi final in 2009. Worse game ever, although I did get to witness Danny Welbeck tackling himself.

My worst purchase, and I'm sure afro would agree with me has been Tim Howard. 1.5mill I paid for the guy!

BBC's European section state the following on Janssen:
The hottest property in Europe?
A quick quiz question: who is the leading scorer in European football's top 10 leagues this year?Cristiano Ronaldo? Zlatan Ibrahimovic? Sergio Aguero? No, no and no. The answer is Vincent Janssen.
The AZ Alkmaar striker, 21, netted four goals in Saturday's 5-1 thumping of PEC Zwolle, taking him above all those illustrious names in the 2016 scoring charts.
Janssen, who scored against England on his Netherlands debut last month, is the Dutch Eredivisie's top scorer with 25 goals.

I wish I had gone in for Lewandowski and perhaps tried to build from the front. Or gone for a player who scored more points, as much as I love Verratti/Modric I don't think many others would call them game winners.

Nah! You were just as rubbish as us. I was lucky enough to get into the company's corporate box that day and the only real highlights were the lunch and Jag's penalty. Everything in between was poo

Current Paul Scholes wouldn't have been in the position to miss that sitter. He'd still be sat on the sidelines moaning about how rubbish United are these days.

We played them early at WHL when they still hadn't won a game. Think it was game 4 or 5 before they won . That was a 0-0 draw and they weren't so good.
But at Goodison we fluked a completely undeserved 1-1. They were exceptional and Dele Ali in particular

Re: The World League II
I'd so love us to go 4-4-2 diamond at the Euros like this...
Hart
Clyne
Stones
Smalling
Rose/Baines/Cresswell (if only Shaw hadn't got injured....)
Dier
Henderson (if fit)
Barkley
Alli
Vardy
Kane
We're gonna concede whatever team we play, so might as well go and have some fun with that attack

I thought Wilshere was the lord saviour of English Football. Ali is the new flavour of the month?
Dele is good but until he proves it week in week out for a couple of years his another waster imo. Barkley was supposed to be the new Gazza he's 23, the way his been hyped I'd have thought he'd be captaining the Bayern side by now.
I've seen it many times before, English player shows decent form and we praise him like he's Pele. You all slated Rooney but he's the only world class player we've produced since the 2000s.
We've got Olly including Henderson (a glorified long distance runner) in our xi that's how bad we are. English Football is a cash injected SPL looks good because of the foreign players . Dinosaur Roy Hodgson should never have become national manager.
Re: The World League II
Tottenham were immense last night, albeit helped by Stoke's atrocious defending.
Delle Alli right now has the scoring prowess of Scholes, the technical ability of Gazza, the stamina of Lampard, the footballing IQ of Sheringham, and the haircut of a Womble. He is the best young player in English football since Rooney, and I think he's a better player too. Imagine how good he could be in 2 years' time, with two seasons of CL football and a league title under his belt.
Oh, and good morning everyone xx

Ditto. Although my 4 week old would have scored that open goal, worst miss since Ronnie Rosenthal for sure. It's the fact he beat his man, beat the keeper, LOOKED UP, then STILL spammed it onto the postAfro wrote:Tell you what, I'd take current form Dele Ali over a peak Paul Scholes

Harry Kane has improved in the same team in his second season, it's a safe assumption to say Alli will too. Those two are more valuable than any player in the United, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal teams. I only left out City because Aguero.

Not even £80m for Alli, seriously. He's simply too good.Holymiky wrote:Azzy you gonna sell me Loftus-Cheek yet?

RLC will cost you £7m. £1m less than last time, because I like your style.

Morning
I heard the same from you lot about Wilshere, where is he now? Where is your saviour? Imagine if social media was around when the likes of Gerrard and Lampard were coming through. I honestly can't see Ali or Barkley or whoever coming close to those two guys who were genuine world class players.

Re: The World League II
Nadeems lets discuss Dark Souls 3 but don't ruin it for me as I've only beat the first boss. I had a quick encounter with the second boss but with quarter life remaining it was always going to be impossible.
I must say Dark Souls does feel harder than Bloodbourne.
How do I carry more blood vials?

The look of the Dark Souls game doesn't appeal to me, but all I keep hearing is good things.
Is it linear based or can I fanny about doing my own thing?

We were like this for Wilshere because you hated him. Wilshere had some talent, but he was always injured and never really played to his potential. Last season he looked like becoming the player he could have been, but he'll never get there now.FIFA Diva wrote:Morning

Still has the same number of Balloon Door votes as Scholes though.
Alli as a 19 year old (now 20 as of last week) is streets ahead of both Gerrard and Lampard, ahead of Scholes, Keane, Butt, even Giggs.
