Murrayfield to host next years Challenge / Champions cup finals
Despite being promised a final at the San Siro back in (2013?) Italy are once again overlooked.

Italy were promised a final after the French and English had already left. The board that decides where the finals are played is the same board that decided the previous ones. Funny how they only gave Italy a game when they knew it wasn't going to happen.

Bastards!
If ever a rugby nation could do with a shot in the arm it'd be the Italians.

It would be good. Unfortunately every single party involved is only interested in making as much money as possible for themselves.

Understandable given the disaster of the last two finals.

Don't know what you mean! It was practically balmy at the France game. Managed to get away with wearing just an undervest, plus body warmer & scarf under my Scotland top

Continues the good news for Scots club rugby. Pro 12 final followed by the 2 European finals (and an improving international side) should hopefully get more local schools/kids interested in club rugby

Agreed - it's great to see Scottish rugby getting these kind of kudos and events to help grow the game further. The SRU have been doing good business of late, along with the two clubs. More please.
Presumably, the board reckoned that odds of a British team getting into both finals were far better than one from Italy in terms of filling the stadia. And the chances of travelling fans heading to Italy for either final might be a bit of a lottery as well.
