Naz vs Khan @ Catch weight....

Friday afternoon theorectical question.

Lets say Naz a la 1998 at 130 lbs vs Khan of now at a catch weight of 136lbs
6lbs was the difference between (Marg vs PM) to pick at random.

Khan has moved up a weight now but could make the weight if he really wanted to and millions were on the table....

Thoughts? Outcome?

Naz by brutal KO within 4 rounds, in my opinion. Hit way too hard, and from some obscene angles. I think his lunging uppercuts would take Khan out, as Amir is slightly susceptible to the uppercut.

136 lbs, pretty much the weight khan got iced by prescott. Naz would be quick enough to catch khan and khan can't take naz's power

If this was now it'd have to be a catchweight of about 175...

Bad match up for Khan. Naz' unorthodoxy and power would be an absolute nightmare for him, in my opinion, and twelve rounds against a devastating hitter is a very long time to survive without a proven chin.

Hamed was a big puncher but he was also a featherweight. Khan took some of Maidana's best shots and stayed vertical and he is probably the biggest hitter in the Light Welter weight division. I only see a Khan win here, I think he has faster hands, has tightened his defence up and would catch Hamed often enough as he left himself open a fair bit, look at the Kevin Kelley fight. However if you were to have the fight with a younger more raw Khan who was still a lightweight you would end up scooping Khan off the canvas like against Prescott.

Hamed by KO in the first 3 rounds.

Khan was a very vulnerable lightweight.

Agree though Naz would destroy Khan. Far too much power and too difficult to prepare for, can't see Roach being able to come up with a gameplan.

Natural FW vs big guy @ LWW.....

As dodgy as Khan chins is i can't see him getting bounced out by a FW

Bearing in mind he knows he has power i can't see anything other than cockyness and bravado getting in Khan's way

Height, reach, speed = i'd back Khan heavily

I feel Khan is too big for this match to be competitive.

Either way it'd be car crash tv watching the press conferences.......

Under Roach, Khan has turned into a good all round pro and his height and reach would be a problem for Hamed. I would see this fight being similar to Khan's fight with Maidana except for when he gets hurt by Naz it will be fight over. At his best Naz never let someone off the hook once hurt and I can not see Khan going a whole 12 rounds with Naz without getting hurt at some point.

Thing is though if Khan is making 136 that either means he is the pre Roach Khan who hung his chin out to dry and got put over by the likes of Limond and Gomez or he is the Roach era Khan boiling down and tight as hell at the weight. Either way does not do him any favours in this one

the weight difference would be too much, and khan to strong. but just in theory if khan and naz were the same weight with the same skill they have the naz would more than likely KO khan.
