The Dew Drop Inn
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Hobo man, I noticed something on this site. Posts (on the right hand side User info) do not increment when online. Pedantic? Moi? It's just a database tweak you need.

You would be minded like Gold. Its just a brilliant rugby ground. Their fans are so solid and vocal. Like Dragons.
Oooh Djokovic! This is what top-level tennis is ALL about.

So that's it then. Agen away, Wasps home.

Good day tomorrow for me sports wise. Watch Wales in the Millennium. Maybe watch England v Switzerland (if it's on) and watch Carl Froch in the early hours. I love it when boxing is on Sky Sports and not Box Office.

Welcome back Kiwi. Yes, the debates really seem to be thriving now.
Gibbo - yes I like rain, or at least cooler if it's dry.
Just chatted to me sis. She's 40 on the 9th of July. I can't believe she's that age now. Doesn't seem like it.

That's nice. Sure, what is sport all about, if its not that? I went on a few "golfing" weekends meself...
I really like playing it, but not watching it. Except for the Ryder Cup, when we put the Yanks in their place. I like that.

Lovely evening here, my flatmate cooked dinner, just sitting down to a nice wee dram of Asbo's finest Scotch
I have to be across town by 10am tomorrow morning for a netball tournament - it's going to be a scorcher on the courts, so not too much booze for me tonight. A good warm up for the semi-finals Tuesday too.
Mickado, congrats on the payrise.
Hughie, I couldn't fit that nice brunette into my carry-on baggage, but found something I think you'll like almost as much.

Prop, nice going
Gibbo, cheers. I figured it's only appropriate for a kiwi to try and referee the breakdown while also contesting it
Just watching cricket on S4C . I recorded the Baabaas 1973 game earlier, will save it for Sunday arvo I think. I would have watched it "live" earlier but ceded control of the remote to my flatmate - the dinner she cooked was superb , just chicken, green beans and potatoes done really well

Glas,
Big yes to Monsters Ball. There are very few actresses, in these bland days, that do it for me.. But, she is one of them. Latent duurtynessness and sheer beauty.
AND, she can act. Which is a plus.
Charlize Theron also.

So Fed won. 43 matches without defeat for Djokovic though (before tonight). That's good going.
I don't know why, but I'm starting to be a bit more confident about tomorrow. We only need Paul James to go okay on the tighthead. I think Bevington will do okay in the scrum and will show up well in the loose. I know they're only still photos, but it looks like Henson is doing okay in training ;-) (I'll clutch at any straw right now). The only definite weak link I see is Bennett.

Had to put the phone on charge for a bit (and pay some Scouser in the pub to 'mind it for me' ). Rev, if the new stand at Dave is ready next season I would love it if we drew the Dragons. It's a 50/50 shout between Dragons and Brive fron tier two for us as the other 3 teams are English.
Gibbo - I have provisionally booked off the Fri & Mon for chef's meet up. Need to check in with hughie & As about travel plans.

By the way, the mud behind the deadball line is where the pitch is being moved.

Am just watching last weekend's Scrum V.
George North is being interviewed. Coming across really well, seems a very level headed young man, has bundles of ability, I think he will go far. Could be a real star on the world stage in 2-3 years time.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn
Hound, I'm looking at going to France too, need to get my new contract signed at work next week, and can make some proper plans.
I have a couple of NZ friends visiting over summer (one in July, one in Sept) so will need to save some leave there too.
Just had a look at the FB event a mate set up for Argentina vs NZ in Beunos Aires September 2012, and ex AB Ron Cribb has signed up to go. Could be a great trip.
Hound, cheers. Haven't actually tried out any of the fancy moderator superhero powers yet ...
I'm playing a netball tourney over in Islington tomorrow, then have to get to Hampstead for an engagement party in the evening so won't make the Wheatsheaf - pity as it should be a perfect day for hanging out there.
Gibbo, LDCP, I totally agree with you on the lovely Ms Theron

Rev - looking very nice down there at Dave .
I had a picture of how the stand would look from the views during the Blues game. It's gonna be better than I thought.
kiwi - no worries bud, and enjoy your weekend. If the new manager stays at the pub then Andy has him agreeable to open up for the Tri Nations early games.
The breakfasts are terrible though
Photos didn't seem to work so I'll try sendibg them to my other email box.
