First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be? king

Kiwi - I wouldn't lock the thread because sometimes people like to ask questions about games being shown or not. The OP will only be edited by Penfro. If he puts a disclaimer on it explaining that each week he'll put the latest TV guide up then date each new TV guide, it should be OK for anyone to follow.

Good call Cari. And the comments will cycle through a lot slower than the Pub so it won't need renewing too often.

I think the best thing to do is ask Penfro what he wants to do first being as he'll be maintaining it, then just go from there Smile

I had a dream a few years back that I had a golden labrador names Roobarb. It was very strange.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well Stag, hope it's nothing too bad.

Stag, go back to Random Factor, you'll get the jokes on there now I'm sure.

I made the discovery, a few years ago, that if you mention Rhubarb and Custard to people of 'a certain age' (such as myself) they absolutely have to sing the signature tune. Try it now - it must be a Law or something...

The 1984 Rhubarb and Custard Act

Meanie - some of us remember dancing to a remixed version of that theme tune at raves in the early 90s too Wink

Staggy - have you eaten? Sometimes an empty stomach can make you feel nauseous.

Don't stand for that - contact the authorities - they are in breach of Section 3, Sub Section II of The Rhubarb and Custard Act!

Custard,
Reminds me of one the Status Quo lot, I think it was Rossi - being asked how did he enjoy his Life on the road after all these years. The girls, the drugs, the parties the wealth... Was it a blast?

He said something like: "Well man, I was still at this party. It started in Vegas, in the 70s... then you just asked me that question. What's happened since? "

Interviewer: So as a rock legend you've toured on every continent, sold millions or records, had multiple platinum selling singles and albums, slept with countless groupies and taken a copious amount of illegal drugs. What, would you say, was the highlight of your musical career?

Rock Star: Musical career? What, you mean I didn't become a Chartered Surveyor? Christ - what did my Mum say?

Cari - it looks like you're in charge of nicknames, so you decide - I'll answer to most things 'custard related' - mean or otherwise.

Knee injury ended my serious playing days (hyper-extension and subsequent severe cartilage damage).

Most kind Gibson - good to be here.

Am a Saints and England supporter and am a geezer. I will get around to completing my profile at some stage.

Used to post on ScrumV as 'Franklin', but didn't get along with 606 due mostly to Wumming (not as classy as the Scrum V Wums) and constant England/Wales bashing from both sides. Very boring! Really liking 606v2 though - great job by all involved!

Wow - being greeted as an English fan - a genuinely new experience for me Wink

We certainly try to travel well! We're a welcoming bunch to visitors too.

My Dad is a Dubliner and my Mum is an Ulsterwoman (Donegal), which made this year's Heinie very interesting! My cousins are all mad Leinster fans (most based around Newbridge and Naas) and haven't let me forget yet (and are not likely to do so)!
