The Dew Drop Inn
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I am not holding grudges, I am just looking forward to rubbing his nose in it! There was a particularly nasty poster called Dagath on 606 who made all kinds of allegations (I think he was a league fan).

Hobo,
If you rub his nose in it, then you're giving people licence to hold the grudges they had before.

In fact, this Pub was built on pretty sound foundations on the old, mad Wild-West 606. And one of its premises was.. dont speak ill of anyone outside it.
Otherwise... it is hypocrisy personsified.
Im deleting my last statements... in 10 seconds.

What goes on in the pub, stays in the pub. Like Vegas but the pub is more Elvisy

Cold showers. Hmmmmm. I like cold showers.
Dreamer,
Have you checked the pilot-light? May just be that. Hold it down/open for 30 secs and relight it. Its all I can offer. Sorry pal.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn
Ah we've got an electric boiler Gibbo. Had someone out a few weeks ago to look at it and he fixed one of the thermostats and it's been working fine since then. What I don't get is that the warning light isn't on, there's just no hot water
Am in a proper grump now so am going to sign off for the evening, no point being in here while I'm in a foul mood!
So nos da/ good night folks, and speak to you on the morrow.

Aha, electric boiler. Dont have much call for them over here. All natural gas. It is most likely the thermostat again. Call yerman out again.

In the house I'm in at the moment, if anything goes out, the fuse box is down in the cellar. That's really helpful except for the fact that we're locked out of that.

Ah, Gibbo/Cari - I know it's a student barbie, but summer's here and barbies are mentioned. I just get all enthusiastic and kind of creative.
The thing is, for not much money you can do a great barbie.
In other news, Scarlets' Ben Morgan has almost certainly declared for Wales. Apparently he was offered a place in the Saxons squad and turned it down. Apologies if this is old news.

I would not blame him for turning down a Saxons cap maybe it would be a different story if England offered him a full cap.
It would be tragic if a Saxons cap was his one and only cap he is keeping his options open.

Hi Cymroglan. Fair play to Morgan; he appears to be going with his heart (i.e. where he has been brought up). I think he may offer more to England as he matures than Jordan Crane, who I once rated highly. Good luck to him - a promising player.

Hi HH yes he is a very promising player and I for one do hope he opts for Wales but if he does play for the country of birth who could blame him.
He has a very tough decision to make and he will need to make it quite soon I think.

Gibbo,
I understand the meaning of it and it's role but I'm purely talking about the word which seems so unscientificky (that surely isn't a word!).

And just reading the report of Canada's win over Italy A in the Churchill Cup. Canada's star player was Chauncey O' Toole. Take a bow for that name
Cymro - it wouldn't have been a difficult decision for young Morgan imo. He has learned all his rugby in Wales. We'll take any old mongrel though

Gaydar A homosexual person's ability to identify another person as homosexual by interpreting subtle signals conveyed by their appearance, interests, etc.
Grrrl A young woman regarded as independent and strong or aggressive, especially in her attitude to men or in her sexuality.

CyberslackingSpending one's employer's Internet and email facilities for personal activities during working hours.
Some strange words in the modern dictionary.

Right. All the lambs vaccinated. Knackered now and off to bed.
Gibbo, the Greeks may not have invented it, but they added a certain panache.
The Welsh are either the Italians in the rain or the Irish who couldn't swim, depending on who you talk to. Actually we Brythons with a strong assimilation of outside influences, especially in the last two centuries and have the oldest living language in Europe.
And we love running rugby. A 15 man attack. Blood and thunder, a silky smooth outside half general and a few pints of warm flat bitter ale.

Aye, used to play for Glasgow. His mate Van Der Merwe got him the gig. Wasn't particularly impressive for them.

It was good to see Gibson hanging around the media section last night! And he picked some good albums to take with him - bizarrely enough I was listening to one of his favorite albums yesterday (Van Morrison) as well!
Re: The Dew Drop Inn
Munsty, not sure tbh, Camacho was impressive especially in the second half of the season and Short would bring considerable ballast with him, but neither confirmed yet. Usual breakfast for me pls:

Sadly not indeed. Asbo something we touch on another thread. The attendances of Glasgow/Edinburgh. Do you think this resting players thing they are doing is playing a role.

You'd get eggbound if you had the Asbo breakfast every day, wouldn't you? Good word, that: eggbound.

Ha, I don't think I could tackle steak for breakfast - but seeing as it was the morning after your wedding night, a) you wouldn't have got much sleep and b) you'd need to replenish your energy levels
