Well that's true, if you ignore the £55 million spent by Leicester over the last two seasons.
Yes, but it rather defeats the media myth that Leicester are some gallant penny-pinching club, striking a blow against those dastardly established clubs, a true David v Goliath story.
so you wouldn't agree Leicester are a small club compared to the usual top 4?
In reality, Arsenal have choked. Chelsea and Man City have had horrific seasons. United and Liverpool are in transition for an eternity (it seems). And Leicester have got some players in form, kept things simple, and profited from the worst quality season I can remember in my life - I mean West Ham could still get top 4!!!
Arsenal choke every year, Chelsea are rubbish this year and Man U have been for the last couple.
it seems you are trying to come up with excuses, most of them happen every year!

would say the love in is to do with the fact Leicester looked like they were going down, then went on that amazing run to stay up.
Then from there one season later now on the verge of winning the league.
I'm glad its between Leicester and Spurs, makes a change from the 2 manchester clubs and Chelsea.
Makes it a bit more refreshing.

2 so far Lamela blatently trod on Cesc, Dembele eye gouging
Chadli on for Alderweireld - crippled by a Costa tackle which was clean. who'd have thought he'd be the cleanest player here so far

Doubt Arsenal will beat City. Spurs 3 pts clear & still play Southampton at home + a 14 GD advantage over Arsenal

Can Lamela still get banned for stamping on Fabregas?
Also Dier definitely should have been sent off, suprised he didn't go back and book him again after the advantage.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Pochettino congratulates Leicester and says they now have to remain focussed to secure second place. Because of an overwhelming goal difference they need to get three points from the final two games and Arsenal have to win both their games including away to Man City.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
The Two Biggest Stories of the Season:
1) The abject performance of defending champions Chelsea and the sacking of Mourinho. At one stage Chelsea were in danger of falling into the relegation zone.
2) Last years almost relegated side going top of the league and staying there to win the Premiership.
I wonder what the odds were of having bet at the start of the season Mourinho sacked and Leicester to win the Premiership? 100(?) x 5000 = 500,000 to 1.

When you sit back and look over a decision you regret in life, just remember it could be worse...
You could be Jordan Veretout and have picked Aston villa over Leicester this past summer...

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
To be fair, Veretout would of just been the 'Gokhan Inler' & sat on the bench or the reserves. Is Inler even going to be receiving a medal for playing like five games? Veretout would of been as forgettable at Leicester, as he has been at Villa. I doubt Inler is taking any real enjoyment or satisfaction from this season, he's the oddman out.

Thought Clattenberg handled the game well when it looked like getting out of control. Him and is assistant did miss some off the ball nonsense tho. The FA will be rubbing there hands today...

The last 2 games have really been a microcosm of this season. The big guns have simply failed to apply any kind of consistent pressure.
