Re: 6CW Chat v11
I actually agree with Darren but see it being the other way around with Dicey v Wood III and Joshua facing Reborn...I originally thought whoever would be facing Joshua would walk away with the win but with it possibly being Reborn I'm not sure now...I don't know if Chris can book himself to win the World Title
That being said, I don't see both titles staying on the champions so if Joshua keeps his then that means Wood's days are up...it was fun while it lasted.

Re: 6CW Chat v11
I think if Dicey wins it's actually a bit more exciting if he picks his opponent instead of Reborn because Dicey will have good reason for both.
Does he want to deliver the biggest F**K JONES possible by taking the 6CW title from the main Jones guy OR does he want to get revenge on Liam Wood...the guy who threw him down a flight of stairs and kind of drove him back to the more unstable Dicey when he was on his way to getting back to his best.

Dicey beats Joshua and Thunder
Wood beats Reborn
Cassius becomes number 1 contender.
Standard Steel retain. Grace and Adamson have a bust up
Anderson beats Crime Lord
Engel becomes TV champ
Faith is UK champ
An Xtreme match of some sort makes a reappearance

Dicey vs Heath vs Joshua - Title match - Joshua wins after Heath takes out Dicey
Wood vs Reborn - Wood retains
Fatal four way tag - Adamson and Grace win the titles imo, but tension is still there. Could see a Standard steel spilt personally
Anderson loses to Crime Lord for the the title
Cerburus becomes TV Title champ and it happens so him and Engel have a feud going forward
McManus beats Faith for the title
Cassius/Murdoch have a breakdown in the chamber this week and face each other at the PPV, with Murdoch winning
O'Callaghan beats Scorps
Wood vs Reborn - Wood retains

OK short and snappy QotDs aimed at different people. When you answer also ask a new person a question.

Ed, do you think Heath will target Dicey after NoG?

Yes! earlier too! I'm windmilling now!
My question is to, Marky. Do you ever see Grace costing Adamson a world title in 2016?

I don't because I don't think Adamson gets another shot for a while. Also based on the last podcast I did there's no reason to think either will turn on the other anytime soon.
My question is for Tooze - where would James McManus be if you'd been around more often?

Reborn vs Wood- Wood retains.
Dicey vs Joshua- Dicey wins to give Jones a F*** you and continue Dicey development since the fall of Xtreme
Cerberus wins the TV title. I see Engel and Cerberus working together in the early stages to take out Stevens and Phillips, Cerberus and Engel go at it to end the match only for Jones/Kramer to give Cerberus the win. A real kick in the teeth for Engel who has tried to be the face of company for months and maybe the final push Engel needs to go over the edge.
The tag team match I think adamson and grace will win, they are starting to have a few differences and a title win followed by a big loss in the future leads to there split and potential feud into beachfront brawl

My question is for Tooze - where would James McManus be if you'd been around more often?
Possibly not much further up the card than he is now, I don't think McManus at this point is much more than a mid card sort of guy and quite rightly too, i see him as like a regal or perfect sort of guy who is a good hand around the mid card. there are people here who are far more deserving to be upper card than me atm, but time is getting better so who knows what the future holds for Jimmy Mac
My question is for mat

Morning everyone. I would like to keep the qotd going for everyone. But so we aren't waiting for people, I will do another two (plus we have the one for Mat above)
Remember, answer and fling another person one.
So Dicey, if you walk away as next 6CW champion, how will Dicey react to now being the poster boy of the fed?
And Zhi, how much have you enjoyed coming back to efedding and what match do you see Cassius having at Nog if he is unsuccessful in the chamber?

Rightio, finally got round to this, couldn't split between the two so here goes:
1) Never getting the three way feud between the members of the Church of Hero, which would have been over one of the world titles. It was a great faction, unique in the way that it was formed, and by the end I'd say Marsh and Beer were near enough on the same level as Hero promo wise. Would have been a great feud, so many potential curve-balls and twists within the dynamic, legitimately could have been something that ran from one Born In Fire all the way through to the next but alas it was not to be.
2) Not getting to do a real invasion angle at some point. Was discussed several times, and there was the 6CWF merger at one point, but the right time/people never cropped up.

I'll carry it on. I got two questions:
1) D - What would be a successful year from here to NOG 2017 for Anthony Grace?
2) Liam - Is Wood heel or face?

Dolphin Ziggler wrote:I'll carry it on. I got two questions:

It's a difficult question because it can be two types of success. For Grace, he would want to be successful in 6cw and on the outside. I think for him success means getting respect. I don't think many other wrestlers class Grace as a threat and it's like you said in your Reborn promo - he is riding on Adamsons coattails (or at least other people think that). I think going alone, winning a title, and still being a fan favourite would be a successful year for him.
But for me as a promoer it is different. I would love for Grace to stay face for a while longer and have a totally out of the blue turn. Not a long one like Wood had. A proper shock no-one saw coming. Then I would build on it as a heel Grace. Think of him being like JBL or Jarrett - not being the best wrestler but somehow, ofter underhanded, getting wins. That would be a successful year for me.
I still have the idea of putting a toe cap on, that is hidden in his trunks, to make the Blockbuster more devastating. It's not exactly brass knuckles or Jarretts guitar but the principle is the same.

I think beating Jimmy Phillips clean would be a sit up kinda moment - Phillips a finalist in the TV title tournament...or alternatively interfere/get involved in another match (don't see that happening at all)
Nando - Do you see Cerberus winning the TV title or needing to win the TV Title to keep up his momentum as a boss monster?
Re Jimmy Phillips - I don't think he's unfairly looked at because he's not GazzyD - but then to be honest I haven't been about too long too know how well thought of gazzy was...

I've booked the earliest train back I could (first journey was something daft like £130 - if I wait half an hour it reduced by about £100), just means I've got a couple of hours to kill in London at the crack of dawn on the Monday

Jackson Jackson made his name in World Social Wrestling, a Scandinavian promotion where Jackson honed his talent, he competed in a tournament to crown the WSW World Champion. Jackson was hit with a cacti by the COO and tazered by the owner such was their desire to stop him becoming World Champion. As a result Jackson was able to legally walk out of his contract with WSW and walk into a new deal with 6CW as a free agent.
Before Wrestling: Jackson was a professional gymnast and personal trainer until he had a realisation that he wanted to become a professional wrestler. He trained under the expertise of former 6WF Champion Abe Abercorn where he learned the majority of his mat based submissions.
Success/Failures:
Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths are being technically gifted and a submission expert. An obvious weakness due to his size would be power moves and a knack of getting into fights due to his constant cocky putdowns of rivals.
Motivations: To be the very best wrestler in the world.

I am not a fan of your finisher names. I still prefer the Jack-OFF. No-one here uses the stunner do they? That is what I think the Jack-OFF should be.
Morning everyone.....been mental today. How is the beach Paul?
In regards to the Phillips QotD, I think that happens a lot with second characters. I think Gazzy has done well in separating the characters traits. You have instances where a promoers characters can sound the same if you aren't careful (Wood/Stevens). And sometimes it is hard being totally opposite to what you are used to - like in Gazzy and Phillips case. Guys like Adamson and Reborn, you can read the promo and insert either boos or cheers and it would still make sense - that's the type of characters they are.
I would like to see GazzyD return but I think Phillips has a lot going for him. It just needs a bit of nurturing.

Not at the beach today - Son back at school after half term so taking my daughter out for dinner before the after school kickboxing club
I think when ever you have had a really successful character creating someone completely different and having success is always difficult - I have never got it right and I think there are very few examples when a second/third character has outshone a first - Unless your first had a fart gimmick of course

You say that but Vortex went through so many different gimmicks just to get noticed that the fart gimmick probably would have stood him in better stead! I think only when I joined him with Oko for The Consultancy gimmick did things settle for him.
I agree with what you are saying about difficulty though. I think Grace can outshine Joshua - Anthony has a longer shelf life before things get stale. I don't think Jackson will out perform Adamson though!
Joshua is still waiting in that ring for Austin. I did a short reply to Reborn, Chris.

Thinking about his possible match at NoG. If Jones loses control, could he roll the dice and create an unsanctioned match first?
He got rid of Xtreme because he had to think about the viewers. Could he go in the opposite way in a desperate attempt to cling to power?
