GGG vs Canelo

I think this fight will happen next. Maybe I'm deluded for believing them. But I think GBP are genuine this time.

If it happens I obviously back GGG, but he will be tested. It will be his toughest fight to date and I think he will take some punishment as well.

My only worry is, Golden boy are saying one thing, while doing something else. They perhaps want to wait until Ggg is on the slide.

Imo they should take it now. Gennady hasn't taken much punishment and he has a good few years left yet.

It would be a wonderful fight and the winner would be the undisputed face of boxing

Golden Boy (Oscar) you gave Floyd/manny death for not stepping up, do the right thing and give fans the fight everyone wants to see. Show you are genuine about the fans.

If GGG vs Canelo doesn't excite you, forget about boxing. It's a superfight and sure to be one to remember.

He's the same as most of the top guys aside from Mayweather/Martinez and a few others - he was a big guy slimming down and beating the sh*t out of smaller guys, the only difference between him and boner/margarito/chavez jr for example is that he was actually quite skilled as well as big.

Mayweather slimmed down to superfeatherweight which is 5 divisions higher than Flyweight..

The difference between Light Flyweight and Featherweight (which is what he reportedly weighed in as during those fights) is about 14 pounds - 5 divisions suggest the difference is much bigger than it is. In effect, if you count actual fight night weight Mayweather has gone up 21 lbs (130-151lbs) and Pacquaio 22lbs (126-148 lbs) it's just Manny was evidently more willing/able to drain his weight for the weigh in. admittedly those minimum and maximum fight night weights are from memory, I might be out by a couple lbs on any of them. I'm pretty sure Mayweather weighed in at 151 then turned up to the Oscar fight weighing 148!

pacquaio last fought at flyweight as a 20 year old and then went straight to super bantam at the same age. Mayweather was still at super feather as a 25 year old. Both knocked people out at a lower weight, both didn't generally at welter.

Does Manny's power in the ariza period look suspicious? Does Floyd taking IV's and paying off people to keep quiet about drug tests look suspicious?

Depends who's corner you're fighting.

Both are suspicious, but no concrete evidence.

Pacquiao is no more dirty than Mayweather, JMM etc. And vice versa.

I'm not accusing anyone, but when these guys fight they are pretty much on a level playing field.

If you don't know Manny was Flyweight champ at 21 then stick to slagging of Khan..
