ibra at 34 isnt going to be playing mid week and at weekend. league cup, europa, fa cup is plenty of game time for rashford to help his development without adding too much pressure. add to it he can also play wide, him martial and ibra wouldn't be a bad attacking line up. dont see why we'd be loaning him out, id have him over lingard and depay as a wide option

Seems to growing murmurs that Real aren't willing to pay the fee required for Pogba but that Utd are.
I like Pogba, but the touted fee of £97.5m is a hard pill to swallow.

I wouldn't even pay £30m for Pogba, always disappointed me. Mhki is a talent, but no guarantee he will perform. At least with Mane, you know he's delivered in this league & has lightning pace, which Mhki doesn't have.

Mane is probably the most hot and cold player in the PL tho. Went 16 games with scoring/assisting at one point his past season - then broke Fowler's hat trick record! Will be interesting to see if he can improve his consistency at Liverpool

I'd say Liverpool need a Mane type more than they need a Mkhitaryan type. They've got lots of good, clever, intricate players but need someone who is fast, direct and a bit selfish.

United have the pace and direct approach, they need someone a bit clever who Mourinho likes. I stress that last part because you'd assume Mata was already worried about his place, and must be looking a spare part now.

Now he's one id take as a Payet replacement!

Not really sure Fellaini has much more to offer the PL. He's a limited force, he gets targeted by refs & offers more trouble, than actually offering a positive contribution. Serie A is more likely a destination, seeing as he will view himself as a champs lge/Europa lge standard player & no team in England in Europe will take him.

Indeed, rubbished by the club too Hero, but I think the plans are up in the air for a month after the Euros. No strong interest by then and we won't be concession planning.

Although you could say Slav already has, and by picking up Feghouli, making Lanzini permanent and likely grabbing Tore we would still have attacking players to fill some of the void. We need that striker, whatever happens it's the key to our window

I realise and understand that Conte is occupied with Italy at the Euros but i am interested to see who we sign this summer. Nainggolan has been mentioned but i don't think he is sure he wants to move.

Fellaini was one of the better players in the PL at Everton, he'd be top of my list if I were a mid table manager.

Not particularly happy with that deal, but willing to give Klopp the benefit of the doubt. Imagine he's been bought for his pace and the fact that he has a decent goal record. Nowhere near worth that much. Would have been okay with around £20 million.

But £32m was accepted as being fine for Lacazette going to WHU. A player not in the French squad & not proven in this league. You people change your tune. £30m for Mane seems fine, he's been a top performer for Southampton (two fifth places), great pace, good scoring stats & assists & it's a deal being done, on the wave of the TV deal. Seems a great deal for Liverpool & generally acceptable level of fee for this era of the PL. Lallana who is poopie cost £25m for goodness sake, what r you complaining about????

The price which would be paid for Lacazette would be due to the fact he is one of the best young strikers around, weather or not he can “do it in the Prem” is irrelevant to Lyon because they obviously aren’t willing to sell unless the price is right and in this case that’s probably around £40m if he leaves at all. He scored 23 goals in the season just finished (2 in the Champions League). To me the price tag is justified if we go on what I said above.

The debate wasn't that Lacazatte was not worth £32m. The issue was people stating Mane was not worth £30m, which I find puzzling, given his performances, stats, impact in the league & given players who are woefully short of his ability & end product, such as Lallana, have gone for £25m.

Mane is the ultimate hot and cold player. Up to the end of October he scored 3 and got 4 assists, from the end of March he scored 8 and assisted with 1.
In the 4 months in-between he got 2 assists and that's it, barely put a shift in.

You could almost say he started playing for a transfer when it didn't materialise in the Summer or January, if he sorts out his consistency he'll be an asset to Liverpool but it's a lot of money for an IF.

Think that's great for Newcastle. Townsend was always gonna go, and they've picked up an absolute natural goalscorer who will bang them in in a dominate team, and at the very least he'll pick up goals from the bench as a pacy option
