Draft results up https://www.606v2.com/t63097-draft-results#3352687
Round 2 is open till Monday morning, I'm away from midday Friday till Sunday evening.
If round 2 bidders get them in before midday Friday I'll do them before I go

Re: The World League II
Just to clarify are we just bidding on the amount of players we missed out on or are we into bidding for unlimited players now?

And is this open to all or just the people who haven't yet made 2 signings?

My first XI to tackle this Premier League mob;
Schmeichel
Fosu-Mensah - Rudiger - Balanta - Fuchs
Vidal - Kondogbia - Goretzka
Guedes - Diego Costa - Neymar

Re: The World League II
Marky, do you have an answer for the above? Not sure weather to send one bid as I didn't get one player or to send a group cos I don't want to miss out..
I like that lineup, strong forward line.

Re: The World League II
Delighted to pick up Mahrez and Bellarabi. Gives me plenty of options, and I still have £28m in the kitty to sign a striker and a CB
------------------ Horn ----------------
Azpilicueta - Barzagli - Dante - Schmelzer
------------------ Dier -----------------
Bellarabi ---- Alli ----- Rabiot ---- Mahrez
------------------ Kane ----------------
Pace to burn, lethal finishing, a midfield that would outrun the Duracell bunny...just have to hope that HolyJoey doesn't think I'm playing four guys just off of Kane

Just space it out differently then.
------------------ Horn ----------------
Azpilicueta - Barzagli - Dante - Schmelzer
------------------ Dier -----------------
------------ Alli ----- Rabiot
Bellarabi --------------------------- Mahrez
------------------ Kane ----------------
Equally I would play Mahrez RW, not LW.

Do one Azzy
Can we decide on what bids to send please before we send them? I don't want to send more if we are making sure everyone gets 2 first.

Re: The World League II
I'd look to bring in a LB, CB, CM and play Mahrez on the right like Marky said.
Couldn't you have got someone else instead of Costa?

Re: The World League II
That looks retarded. Six 'levels' of players, when clearly in real life you only ever get 4, with 5 the absolute tops. No-one ever saw a team that elongated. I'd probably put:Marky wrote:Just space it out differently then.
------------------ Horn ----------------
Azpilicueta - Barzagli - Dante - Schmelzer
------------------ Dier -----------------
------------ Alli ----- Rabiot
Bellarabi --------------------------- Mahrez

----------Alli ----- Dier --- Rabiot ------
Bellarabi ------------------------ Mahrez
------------------ Kane ----------------
And risk Dier being marked as being more advanced, than look like a raspberry ripple like Steve McLaren.

Re: The World League II
Azzman do you have a good second striker?
I'd consider going 4-4-2 diamond if you do with Mahrez AM (where I think he is best)

Re: The World League II
I have no strikers other than Kane. And if you go 4-4-2 diamond, some benny would say 'ooh, you lacked width, Luke Chadwick and Serge Gnabry tore into your full backs'.

I want an old fashioned centre forward. Costa is like the budget version of Lewandowski!

I'm applying for a new job - unfortunately when you reach a certain level, your covering letter has to become a mini essay. I'm at 5 pages and counting. All quality stuff. Better get an interview!
