Whatever happened to cherriesfna?
I always look out for him in the 'specials' section when Bournemouth are on MoTD.

Last I heard Bull was studying at Bournemouth Uni, GSC is still sulking after Leicester won the title and surpassing Notts Forest European achievement.

Morning all, hope you all enjoyed your weekends
I've only had bids in from Nando and Miky for round 2, I haven't actually managed to send mine to Miky either
I'll leave bids open till midnight today and do results first thing tomorrow

Cherries and Bull in the same town?
Maybe they really were brothers.

Morning all,
I'll do my bids tonight, only have a couple of hundred k to spend though.
On the Martial enquiries I want £50m for him. A steep price perhaps but I don't want to lose him.

Did I say Bull? I meant Cherries is at Uni.
Bull got his main account suspended, made a new one pretending to be someone else. I don't know if he still posts.
Re: The World League II
I haven't opened the ones i've been sent so unsure what they've done, but I'm going to give priority to those who haven't got 2 already
So if Miky and Nando have bidded for the same player, Miky as a 1st round bid and Nando as a 2nd, I'm going to give him to Miky even if Nando has bidded more
Sound fair?

Re: The World League II
Seen the squad?
Hodgson is a clown. Wilshere played barely any football and Henderson has been injured for weeks and they're both in the side. And Delph? Another player signed because he's homegrown, and he's in after playing 12 games all year.
I agree to dropping Theo sort of, but even then he's a decent impact sub.

Re: The World League II
I have a few issues with the squad:
Tom Heaton - hasn't played against quality opponents. Ever. We'd be better off with Ben Foster. Or Rob Green. Even Scott Carson or David Stockdale.
Jordan Henderson - out of form, out of fitness. Would rather have Mark Noble.
Marcus Rashford - Jermain Defoe is still three times the player.
Credit to Hodgson though for resisting call ups for Carrick, Jagielka, Walcott.

Re: The World League II
I like Defoe, one of the signings of the season but he has never been International class even during his peak he was never good enough to play for England he always froze.. I'd rather give Rashford a chance, young, fearless, energy, spark, drive, and quality.
Wilsheres mum must be getting boned by a Viagra stuffed Hodgson, no way should he be on the plane. I'd rather take Alan Smith (The Leeds/Man Utd bleached hair striker come defensive mid)
England never had respect for Carrick when he was at his best hardly going to change now.

That's true Viva people never truly appreciated Carrick at Spurs...He declined under Fergie..

Re: The World League II
Wilshere is one that I don't begrudge too much because he's a different kind of midfielder to the others, but for Delph or Henderson, Mark Noble could do what they do and he's bang in form.
I'm still not convinced by Danny Rose but that may be because he's Tottenham.
I did have to point out to a colleague today that the reason Wes Morgan wasn't picked was because he has 50+ caps for Jamaica...

Delph is standby fodder. Might as well have a backup you're comfortable with on the international stage.

Re: The World League II
Can't say I have much disagreement on in the squad apart from including players who have to prove their fitness.
But then that is the reason for it being a provisional squad. Those players can prove their fitness and if not, we don't take them.
I would have gone with Defoe. Tournament experience, good scoring record for England, even more so when you look how many of his games were as a sub. Bang on form.

A bit like Man City fans ranting Roy should have called up Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho ahead of Marcus Rashford

Its only Viva and Nads who haven't signed at least two players, guess its up to them if they want to!
Just wondering if the rest of us can make signings now, I'd like to use another lawyer

Re: The World League II
You signed Tah back? I was going to go in for him.
I like your side Hero, after looking at the draft results I should have made a couple of bids. Some very good players in the league.

Viva, feel free to send me bids if you want to make signings
Or shall we just do an open window now, and make signings via the TP page like during the season?

I should never have sold in the first place tbh, been an absolute rock this season, in all the Team of the Seasons in the press for the Bundesliga and hopefully will get a chance at the Euros.
