Cresswell was the best LB in the best league in the world. What more do you want from the guy?

He was a good LB in a league that was shocking for defenders last year. Don't think I can remember a year in which there's been such a derth of quality defenders in the Premier League.

Question for everyone:
How important to your players ratings are the Euros, and if your player/s weren't picked for their Country's squad is that seen as a negative against them?

For me I couldn't care less how they play for their international side, because it's such a random environment. Club form ftw

I've got 3 Dutchies so they're all out for me, few non Europeans (Dybala, 2 Gabriel's, Koulibaly), Donnarumma and Tah didn't make their squads (should have done) so don't think I've got that many tbh!!

Donnarumma certainly should have gone as 3rd choice just to get the experience. Tah no idea, though they do have Hummels, Rudiger, Mustafi, Boateng and Howedes in the squad.

Neither Hummels nor Renato Sanches who've both already been sold for more than required to get in the top 100 make the list.

Re: The World League II
Very important. If a player can't handle the pressure of an international tournament, how are they going to cope against Olly's team on v2?Hero wrote:Question for everyone:

If a player doesn't get picked, it doesn't necessarily matter. Lovren should have been picked for Croatia, but he fell out with the coach. Not a knock on his ability.
But if you have a young player, like Rashford, and he DOESN'T get selected - maybe he's not as good as you thought he was.

Think I pretty much agree with that other than Luis for Marcelo. I'd swap my two (Chiellini and Pjanic) for Varane and Verratti (not Pogba in that formation)

I guess it depends who you rate really. I would genuinely take this side over Trebs. Not too keen on his back 4 apart from Lahm & think their is better then Vidal & Pjanic in league. Im aware it's not that hipster but im sure you will get over it
Joe Hart
Phillip Lahm Thiago Silva Marquinhos Cesar Azpilicueta
Marco Verratti Ilkay Gundogan
