Re: SURREY VS LANCASHIRE SPECSAVERS COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Just looking at the averages, Surrey batters as follows
Sangakkara 50.27
Foakes 37.12
Harinath 36.73
Ansari 36.00
Burns 34.20
Davies 31.27
Roy 30.00
Burke 7.60
Must say I'm surprised to see that Roy's average is even lower than Davies'. It suggests that dropping Foakes is probably not the best move

Re: SURREY VS LANCASHIRE SPECSAVERS COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP
I just think we only need one wicket keeper, Wilson hasn't had a look in and has scored runs, albeit in the 2nds. Aneesh has hardly been given a chance, plus he can bowl a bit, might save TC bowling another 35 over per innings
The batsman's averages are all much of a muchness (Sanga excepted), and Foakes has had 3 not outs. I don't think anyone is above being dropped with our current 'form'

Hi Goochie - totally agree with your closing words. You may have seen me - the ultimate Roy boy - questioning even his selection.
My own view though would be to keep Foakes behind the stumps. Feel he's done a pretty good job there. If only to try and shake the others up, I would bring in Wilson as a batsman for at least two matches and start by benching Davies. Wilson at least is a scrapper and we need that more than ever now.
