Then you didn't see England Saxons have to beat SA and the ref last night. He was the worst I have ever seen. A Safa with a job to do it seemed.
Another reason to step away from rugby, the supporters are getting worse by the minute
No sorry that's not true. I've been following all my life and that was the worst half of officiating I've ever seen.
He repeatedly gave penalties he should not have around the scrums, rucks and mauls to SA and acted like he had been ordered to ensure a certain result.
It does not make us a bad fan to call out a homer of a ref when it really is.

jumping hip first at someones head who has just kicked the ball is not just reckless its dumb.Pete330v2 wrote:No 7&1/2 wrote:I'm bemused by anyone suggesting jumping in the air to charge down a kick should be a red card offence.
Absolutely. It had an unfortunate and accidental outcome but the red card decision is a joke. A yellow would have been harsh for god sake. You see that happen all the time without penalisation. The ref ruled on the outcome not the action which was never reckless.
if stander had missed him it still would have been dumb. in this case, the fact he hit is head is precisely why it is red.

The pass was poor but the decision to try that pass was terrible.

Paddy needs to just refocus, manage the game. He's been excellent up until this point, he's a bit mentally rattled now.
We can do this lads. Come on.

Perhaps you should direct your emotions to the fact that your side is 3 mins from winning in SA Deserved win too, when you consider the errors and poor discipline. well done.

With 30 secs to go, why give the ball to the team that have to score?

The heart shown by those players today was incredible so many of them stepped up and gave it all
Re: South Africa v Ireland, 11 June
What can I say. I may have been very harsh on Farrell's appointment as defence coach but that was something special from Ireland. To beat SA in SA with a man down for 60mins is something special. Every player on the Ireland side, take a bow, that was brilliant.
Paddy Jackson (ok one slip up) proved that he is more than ready to be the 10 for Ireland. What a game also from Murray, defensively brilliant and took his try well.
SA, well its dark days ahead I feel. That was a poor showing from them.

Feic you Mr Raynal, we got the result you obviously didn't want. Now back to schools rugby for you, you dingbat
Epic result, one I can't believe. Nobody gave us a chance with 15 men. I don't know how I'm meant to feel. Wow, Irish warriors each and every man.

I think I might be in love with Andy Farrell.
To a man, unbelievable performance. Whatever the Wolfpups can do, the auld lads can do better!
That felt like a real changing of the guard in Irish performance, and some real leaders emerging there.

Brilliant, brilliant Ireland - oh to be in Dublin tonight.
What a great day for the NH, too. Two wins out of three and a spirited performance by Wales where no visitor wins.
