Dan Evans has some nice shots. Apart from being broken twice at the beginning of the match Evan's has been competing well with Federer.

Nole watch here. I reckon that rain break has saved him, and hell pull it out tomorrow. Its given Sam soo much time to think

Scratches head - what on earth is going on  6-7 1-6 to Querrey.  Any news about this second set?

This break could work for Querrey - because everyone knows about Djokovic's miraculous abilities to recover when the match goes long.

However if it is a fresh "best of three set" match tomorrow - well Querrey only needs to win one more set to win & his big hitting abilities should give him the advantage.

The rain and break in play is the worst thing that could have happened to Querrey.

Screech was all over the place and there for the taking.

No doubt he'll regroup somewhat and Querrey will inevitably choke now that he's had so much time to think about things.

Well well well. I thought that between Roger and Nole one would cruise while the other might struggle, but I had the two of them swapped.

I think by tomorrow morning the spell will be broken and Djokovic will win Still, I hope it is at least competitive - if he wins the last three sets something like 6:2, 6:1, 6:1 that will be anticlimactic.

"Even" the 2015 level?  Wow.  But for the injury, were you planning on him to play better this year than in 2015?

Henman Bill wrote:Interesting to see the betting odds still make Nole the favourite even 2-0 down to a half decent player. Albeit very close to 50/50 odds.
Seems reasonable to me.  Before the match, I would have given him better than 50/50 chance to win in straight sets.  There may be factors that change it now but on balance I think definitely better than 50/50 still.

Expect Djoko to come roaring back today. Wondered if he was ill yesterday. He certainly looked out of sorts.
Wimbledon junkies can get their fix on the middle Sunday this year as well, thanks to the rain.

That was a very nervous looking hold from Querrey. A few horrible first serves. Was lucky Djokovic was not too sharp either. But it was a hold, so hopefully he will settle down now.

Querrey is barely hanging in in his service games, and Djokovic is not even playing that well yet. Yesterday Nole had 1BP in two sets. He has had 6 in this set already.

No BPs this time, but Querrey cannot get an easy hold - there were still a couple of deuces.  Nole hit a few good shots in that game - is he starting to dial in?

Nole finally breaks. You knew it had to come. The only thing that is keeping Querrey in it is his improved serve as the set progresses.
