Hard to argue with that list........The Cubans were definitely very good at producing fighters who were experts over the amateur schedule.......

Which was a bit of a problem for Jorge Gonzales who beat Lewis and Bowe in the amateurs and then got his face smashed in when he tried to compete in the longer form..

My favorite memory of him was watching him crap himself at the Bowe press conference when Bowe had one of his meltdowns and Jorge had half of the room's furniture chucked at his head........Bowe won the fight then and there..

I miss Bowe and Lewis...They was as much fun out of the ring as in it..

Gonzales was a real oddity. I remember the late Glyn Leach of Boxing Monthly had a real thing for him - despite the fact he clearly couldn't fight!

I remember a rejuvenated 'Spoon knocking him into a cocked hat in the garden. Justice for the way Gonzalez bullied a smaller, past it Renaldo Snipes on the Bowe-Holy 2 undercard (think that was the right card).

Lewis beat Gonzalez in the amateurs to even the score but big Jorge had Bowe all over the show if I remember right (in their amateur contest). Motivation enough for Bowe to show up in shape for a change.

Stevenson has to be ahead of Savon and would be interchangeable with Papp, beyond that you'd be looking at Lomachenko and Kindelan.

Obviously not Olympic, but not forgetting the Khan beat Kindelan in a rematch sponsored by Frank Warren.  Not to suggest that there was anything crooked about it at all.

Only for the fact the women's boxing in came into the Olympics last time round I reckon that Katie Taylor could've went down as the Best Olympic boxer ever.
