SURREY HAVE NAMED AN UNCHANGED FOURTEEN MAN SQUAD FOR THE NATWEST T20 BLAST GAME AGAINST SOMERSET AT THE KIA OVAL THIS EVENING.

The only decision to make is to stick with Burns or recall Davies

Can we not bring Sam Curran in at 8 tonight plz

Also a bit more intent from the middle order - we bat down to Foakes at 9, we can afford to lose a couple of wickets trying to get a massive score

Same team again - like they did SO well the other day!

The middle order just flat out stinks in t20 - take up too many balls to get going, but never get going because they get themselves needlessly out!

Last boundary was in the 7th over - just lack any intent outside the power play, playing outdated t20 cricket

Pathetic effort with the bat - Somerset should chase these comfortably

Surrey end their 20 overs on 154/8. Doubt that will be enough. Certainly a disappointing total given we were 68/1 off 6.4 overs.

At the ground truly pathetic some of those dismissals

Sam Curran goes for 1 off his 1st over, if Batty takes him off after that I'm turning this off

Can anyone explain what Batty does in between games? Does he learn at all? Happens every single t20 game!!!!

Last five overs went for just 25.  

Pleased for Jade Dernbach to get three wickets. He has his very many detractors but at county level more often than not he will do a job at T20.

Have to assume that Sam Curran got injured after bowling one over for one run?

Seems like brilliant death bowling from TC and Dernbach. 1/17 off the final 4 to end up with a fairly comfortable win when it looked a few overs earlier as if King Dave would be doing the post match report.

Do agree with Olly though that Batty is too keen to mix up the early overs. As said many times, if a bowler finds rhythm early on let him use and exploit it. Not always easy to find it a second time.

Pitch seemed fine Corp finch and Jayawardene didn't have a problem. Can't answer for the Somerset side but most of the Surrey boys are out of nick so that might explain it. ps Sam Curran didn't look injured in the field
