Better squad in fact.

If you're using us as a measuring stick at the moment then you're in trouble!

Only "great" side in this league atm is Newcastle

Nothing he is doing is working so I wouldn't be surprised.

Problem is the board will likely just promote Alan Irvine from coach......

Poor goal to concede.
Should have pushed it over the bar.

I hate that goal celebration when a player puts te finger over the mouth to say shush.

Gabby does it.
Not a fan of it.

Rubbish game of football Friday night, as expected Villa showed that they are a decent side and proved a much more difficult game than Norwich provided. They were very much the better side and we were lucky to take a point.

Game overshadowed by the shambles that continues to be Southern Railway, thousands of fans from both sets of supporters still stuck at Brighton station at 19:45 and stuck post natch as well. Fans forced to be crushed and walk the A27 as a result.

Only highlight of the game i missed, which was the outstanding Murray goal. Beer and a pie was calling.

Fulham next Saturday, lets hope for a better performance.

Thing is, if you wait to the half time whistle to go, you're probably not gonna be back to the seat until the 50th minute at least i recon. Other grounds maybe better, but the AMEX is so hard to call as it seems to be different people every-week! Some very prompt and some terribly slow. Some other grounds are dreadful, QPR i recall i went down in the 41st minute, not to return to my seat until the 54th minute and that was only getting a bottle of water and a hot dog!

Thats what half time is for, for the fans.
Toilet, bite to eat a beer chat about the firse half etc.

Should they not serve food either as that can take a while to.
Should we all just sit in our seats for half time.

Surprised this bothers you dolph.

Its bothered me for years. You get people at 40 mins going to the bar. The same kinda people who miss kick off cos they were at the pub. Its like they cant handle more than 10 mins without a beer in their hand.

Again that goes back to my point, if everyone did that, you're looking at not returning to you're seat until at least 5/10 minutes into the second half.

I can accept the need to pee, although it does annoy me when theres bloke who leave every 10 mins for a beer, and every other 5 to pee. But it really bugs me that people miss bits of the game cos they "need" a beer. Its not something id think about on a day to day basis or anything, but I sigh when I have to get up cos some bloke wants a pint

I'm with Dolph on this. I've never understood the need for a beer at a football match. You wont die if you go without a pint for a couple of hours, and you'll save yourself some money. Everyone wins!

Fantastic come back by the lads today, first half was shocking, the only positive was we were only 1-0 down thanks to Stockdale, not having a Stockdale performance.

Second half we were fired up, 2 lovely goals, second goal was thanks to some generous defending by Fulham. But a fantastic 3 points and even better that Newcastle somehow managed to drop points at home to Blackburn, but thats the championship for you, its gonna happen to every club here and there.

O and i know its not championship but Palace Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh

I hope this doesn't come across as sour grapes, it's really not meant to, but that has to be one of the worst refereeing performances I have ever seen!!!

I would be putting a complaint in if I were Newcastle.

Absolutely shocking.

Great win last night against Leeds

First half we were in complete control and the only disappointment was we only went in at half time with just the 1 goal lead. Lovely decision by the leeds player to handle the ball and get sent off.

Second half was very poor, but who cares, got the job done. Top of the league.

Well Newcastle are 2-0 up, so that was fun while it lasted!
