Fair play to Brentford, played very well.
We looked good first 10mins and I thought we could win this.

Poor also though from Villa.
Concede sloppy goals and just don't look like we can score.

We should really have signed another centre back.
Not surprised we lost as the game was on tv.

We have only won 1 game in 14 I think that have been on tv in all competitions.

Probably lose to Forest Saturday.

Bruce needs to sort this rubbish out and fast.
Well done Brentford.
Natalie Sawyer will be happy.
I'm sure she will be running herself a bubble bath any minute now.
Let me just picture that for a moment.

Don't really see the point of the McCormack loan beyond the owner trying to get the fans onside with a big name. 30k in wages, a loan fee for a player who burned his bridges at Villa. Also went toe to toe with Cellino. No realistic permanent deal at the end of the season.

Clough is a player, that's the kind of signing we should be making.

Was only a matter of time before the media went with this story, following RB's comments & a poor result. As far as I'm aware, he still has control, he was just refused funds. Tbh, I'm not surprised he wasn't allowed to sign anyone, given our league position & the fact his signings like Lazaar, Hanley, Murphy & in particular Sels, have been utter crap. We spent £50m, so Ashley would expect that promotion be achieved & we are still well on course to do that.

Think this is just a bit of a storm in a teacup. The squad is pretty crap & I get RB's frustrations, but I'd rather massively overhaul the squad this summer, when more appealing targets can be acquired, with the status of being a PL side.

Battle of the former European champions tomorrow evening.
We need to get back to winning ways and go on a serious run if we have any slim chance of making the play offs, which is very unlikely at the moment.

As it's on tv, not holding any hopes as I said earlier in the week our record for TV games this season is woeful.

Looking forward to seeing how Hogan and Kodjia play together.

Last night was by far the worst performance of the season, shame it was in front of the sky cameras for all to see.

Hopefully its a one off, and we can go again strong at Brentford on sunday. However 3 away defeats on the trot, certainly cause for concern.

That's a cracking three points today vs Derby. It wasn't pretty, but we got the job done & back on top, after that balls up midweek. Rafa to quit stories fully extinguished & we can just focus on promotion now.

Don't really get why Villa were so negative though. Front 2 were top class but they sat so deep all game. We couldn't break them down but they rarely got a platform

lolllloollololollolllolllll

Absolute scenes today at Brentford. For 75 minutes we were absolutely shocking again and the only sunrise around the ground was how on earth are we only 2-0 down. One moment of magic by Solly March and its game on. A few minutes later, im on the floor and Duffy makes it 2-2 absolute scenes. It looked like heartbreak at the end, but step forward Tomer Hemed, what a header and what celebrations.

Better than losing to them
Only saw the highlights of our game.
Two goalkeeping errors costing us.
Should have saved the second.
Maybe give the kid a break and play Bunn who isn't much better.

On tv so no surprise we lost.

Another poor result form Villa and an end to our unbeaten home record.

Bruce needs to sort it out or we will be in a relegation battle.
With the squad we have should be in the top 10 at the very least.

Barnsley home Tuesday 3 points hopefully.

Good to see wessi scoring.
Fancy Norwich to make play offs.
16 games to go, this championship season has flown by.

I think we will finish around mid table.

We've got Newcastle, Sheff Weds, Leeds, Brighton, Huddersfield all still to play - we could do it, but we've left ourselves very little wiggle room if we lose a couple in a row.

Forest/Villa connections - I thought Tshibola looked ok today, but clearly inexperienced. McCormack is chubby. I thought Clough looked a tidy little player, but needs to just quicken up his decision making

Great win yesterday against Burton, didn't play that well but scored 4 decent goals and just looked so comfortable at all times. Good that all the strikers bar Akpom got on the scoresheet as well. Solly March and Dale Stephens were absolutely outstanding.

Ipswich on Tuesday night, suspect they will give us a tougher game. Proven they can still pull results out the bag, i.e 1-0 win at Villa, so won't be a guaranteed 3 points.

It is in the sense that we have one of the best squads in the league imo.
And that we hadnt lost at home all season prior to Saturday.

Especially for certain teams like Ipswich who are not great(although neither are we at the minute).
Just my take on it, bit biased I guess, but fk it.

Fair play to them though.
Yer man Lawrence is a good player.

Looking forward to getting some revenge on Tuesday night, Olly? This game was supposed to be the title decider Laugh

Looks like you've finally recovered from that game at St. James' at least. I doubt it will be another classic, Rafa's tactics & Gayle being absent, has seen us transform into one of the most dullest teams to watch, who just scrape by with 1-0 wins.
