Absolutely shocking stuff from Villa.
Started well under Bruce, now it's all gone to pot.
Can't see where next point never mind 3 will come from.
Good window, thought we would push on, but going backwards.
Bring on the Toon

Very very frustrating night last night, a below par performance for sure, but still so annoying not to get all 3 points. Fair play to Ipswich they didn't come to make up the numbers, they went to win a football match and they too were unlucky not do so!
Still we didn't lose, but its getting very scary with Huddersfield fast approaching. Gotta up it a bit.

Has there ever been a worse sacking/appointment in the Championship than the one at Birmingham?

Paul Clement at Derby last year is the only thing i can think off. But this has to be the worse for sure.

Great win today at Barnsley, was gutted not to go and even more gutted that we actually won and a cracking goal by Sam Baldock.
2 MASSIVE home games coming up now. Must not lose than anything else.

Inexcusable goals to concede.
If Bjarneson had scored early, which he should of, who knows, we would have had a bit confidence.
Hogan's injury looks very bad.
These dark days at Villa seem to just get darker.
It's soul destroying
I'm not far off tears myself.
Fk it.

I don't think we'll go down, but need to pick up points soon.
Next 3 games are Derby h, Bristol City h, Rotherham a.
Need at least 6 points.
Need to beat teams around us.
Looks bad for Hogan, hopefully Kodjia not out for to long.
Have no strikers after those two.
Can't rely on Gabby, Hephburn-Murphy no experience.
Kodak always injured.

Tbh, Brighton look the best side in the league now. We've been terrible for a long, long time. I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I saw us play well. We're an absolute ball-ache to watch, especially without Gayle & have just turned this season into an absolute hard slog. I'm glad we've got Brighton & Huddersfield away, because at St. James' Park, we are absolutely abysmal.
Tuesday night is massive.

Our season hinges on these next two games. Have to win them both (Ipswich joke, Sheffield Wednesday away) - if we do we'll be a point off the playoffs, if not it'll take a miracle to get in

Good win tonight.
Shame Kodj missed the pen.
Good to see Hourihane score.
2 wins in a row and 2 clean sheets.
Have to beat Rotherham Saturday.
2 tough games after with Huddersfield away and Sheff Wed home.

Re: Sky Bet Championship 2016-17 Thread
Beaten by the better team in Newcastle last night, no complaints. There exactly where they should be in the table with the resources they have available.
Just a shame, we seemed to stop playing and attacking after 20 minutes. Newcastle looked there for the taking, and just so annoying that Diame's goal was such a fluke. Did make me crack up though.
Back to back winnable away games coming up though, still 6 points clear of Huddersfield. Plenty of reason to be extremely positive.

Good result, as a Newcastle fan, i'm delighted with the win, as I was convinced we'd lose. And it cost me £40 in stupid bets.
Hopefully we beat Huddersfield and it creates distance between us both and them. I'd love to see Chris Hughton get another crack at the Premier League.

Decent win.
3 in a row now and 3 clean sheets.
Lost to more players to our injury list, that's 7 out now.
Not good with Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday to come.

Re: Sky Bet Championship 2016-17 Thread
Very very poor performance at Forest. Shame as it was a cracking weekend in Nottingham.
No complaints at the score what so ever, however 2 absolute shocking decisions by the officials. The first goal, Assombolonga is clearly offside, in Stockdale way and it even looked like he touched the ball. Laughable decision. The penalty, admittedly i was out the ground by this point, but the replay clearly shows Dunk has won the ball.
Still Huddersfield losing is happy days. Rotherham away on Tuesday night, if we don't win that, then it is time to start panicking.
Final word on the staff at Forest, i have never come across gormless service like it. The line moving the matter of yards, from the 43rd minute, to the start of the second half. Forcing me and several fans to watch the second half on an empty stomach and more importantly beer less. Plenty of you don't know what your doing chants, along with a lot of other friendly chants.

Don't worry nick, we'll take care of Huddersfield on Tuesday(I hope).
Did you get to Hooters?
Went up to watch Forest Bournemouth some years ago, loved the night out, even managed to pull and she was decent looking.
Missed the away fixture this season, hopefully make it next season if it is on a Saturday.

Given the first goal was officially given to Clough, complaining about Britt being offside is nonsense. Stockdale isn't magically going to save that if Britts on the halfway line.

Dunk (Who is 2 bookings away from a 3 game ban) and Humeinar our now our only fit centre backs. Time for some youngsters to step up and prove they are the future. So basically we are getting Bruno or Pogonoli at centre back.

Not saying it will happen, but be a shame to see Brighton finish in the play offs.
Think they deserve to go up automatically.
