4 games unbeaten was to good to be true.
Heard we played pretty well first half.
Wasn't expecting much this week, but disappointing all the same.

Not a superb performance, but 3 vital points none the less. Cracking stadium Rotherham have, shame its gonna be league one football for them next season.

Only Norwich will sack a manager five months too late after he's ruined the season completely - two and a half hours after letting him have his weekly press conference where they allowed him to talk about plans for the summer
Honestly the issue at our club goes higher than the manager - Neil obviously needed to go, but that doesn't solve issue here

This will all be demonstrated when they appoint caretaker boss Alan Irvine after he wins a few games in our upcoming easy fixtures

Pretty ashamed of how the club have handled this - allowing him to do a press conference where he is talking about summer plans, literally hours before you fire him. Disrespectful, a shambles, he deserved better despite how this season has gone.
Hodgson or Rowett please - we need our defence sorting, they can do it.

Great performance and result against Derby last night, everyone looked back to there best. In particular Kayal.
Derby tactics were very strange, but that's not the problem there. They have recruited poorly over the last few seasons, they have a bunch of big time charlies, who turn up and don't play as a team in the slightest. No team spirit at all and its a shame for there supporters that they rock up and see there side get embarrassed.
Be nice if Brentford can get a goal in the second half against Huddersfield.

Feel a bit sorry for the bloke, he isn't the problem at Derby. Like a lot of clubs, its there stupid recruitment policy.
Derby were absolutely pathetic opposition on Friday night.

Disappointing result and performance away at Leeds on Saturday. But not the end of the world at all, if anything we have come out better than we did before the weekend started!
Just got to keep matching Huddersfield results.

Another win and clean sheet.
Edging closer to the play offs.
10 points from 6th, with 21 points to play for.
A shame we had that blip at the start of the year, otherwise we may have made it.

Our late push for play offs continue.
Another clean sheet.
Kodjia on target again.
Some signing.
Remember going to Bristol City away, being in the bars after and the city fans saying he will be rubbish. Hmm, bet they wouldn't mind him now.
Burton away Saturday, be a tough game, but hopefully continue this form.

What a crazy decision to get rid of Gary Rowett and replace him with the "big name" former player Zola, with the dreadful managerial record, at Birmingham City. If Blackburn weren't performing so badly Birmingham would have a good chance of getting relegated. I hope Burton avoid relegation, they are making a fight of it, despite having the least resources.

Re: Sky Bet Championship 2016-17 Thread
I think it's between Blackburn and Burton for the final spot.
Think Wigan will join Rotherham
Would love to see the Blues go down, not saying that just cos I'm a villa fan.
Their run under Zola is appalling.
They have Bristol City and Burton to play yet.
Ourselves
Huddersfield
Rotherham
Would like to see Burton, B City and Forest stay up.

Clough (if Burton stay up)
Wagner (surprised a few with H'Field being where they are)
Stam (same as above)

Apart from spending 180 minutes in Paul Dummett's pocket, he probably deserves it.

I'm not so sure why but i can see Huddersfield slipping up against Preston tomorrow. There a decent side Preston when they want to be.
I think that means us and Brighton will be promoted on Monday providing we win both our games. Title is Brightons now though.

It would make a great story if Birmingham were relegated. Fighting for a place in the playoffs, change manager, drop like a stone, relegated. It is still possible, with Blackburn and Bristol City winning today. I just hope minnows Burton Albion avoid relegation.

Will be good in many ways to have Brighton up. Whilst they don't add anything in terms of spice or history, they are new and different which is always welcome.
Further to that, I know a lot of people enjoy the away trip.
The Toon was inevitable and not winning that league is kind of funny, but also entirely irrelevant.
Who else do I want up? Fulham play good football, Wednesday have been away too long and would be interesting to see return. Huddersfield probably deserve it, although I fear Wagner's style of play won't be as effective with those players against top teams.
No desire to see Leeds or Reading. Feel like Stam might get the Karanka treatment; without success, his dull football will get fans on his back. I do like that he uses youth and wants players on the ball.

Hoping we can get the win tomorrow.
Reading will be hurting from last weekend.
