Qotd. Faith's rematch got me thinking. Why in the efed world do we go through cycles of champions and not shorter reigns, defeats and a soonish regain of the title?

When Median beat JJ for the 6WF World Title that was only for a few days I think.
I can't think of many other short reigns though.
Looking at the schedule (and I do like the schedule so not a complaint) - its pretty difficult to have a short reign.
That's why I thought maybe the TV Title being defended every show would be a good gimmick - it opens up that opportunity a bit more

Yeah I love that idea too. It sets it apart from the UK and International.

Maybe that can be the ongoing story if Grace wins. Kramer says he will defend it every show even though Grace is horrified by the thought. Then by some miracle (or cheating on Kramers part) he manages to scrape a win every show.

It shows Grace's lack of ability as a wrestler while still keeping him face. It will be Kramers intervention that manages to secure the wins and soon the crowd turns on Grace even when he is fighting fairly. Cue heel turn at some point.

Youve got a lot of ideas about how Grace can win the title

I can think of one short one: Liam Wood 2016. He held it for about an hour.

But I think it's often because people are quite sensitive to being beaten quickly as champion.

I see your point though. You could still do the above without a title. Call it the Grace Invitational sponsored by Make A Wish - every win he gets means 6cw donates  £1000 to the cause

Could even say he wins for a while then when Kramer tells him it's all staged, he loses the plot and demands a double or nothing match against a guy of 6cw choosing. He then loses and Make A Wish get nothing.

Morning one and all... I really like the idea of the TV title being defended every show, bit of a call back to the 24 hour hardcore title.

There was one guy who was doing it every week, just beating up his opponents in promos and just not getting the message - I can't remember who

And I remember two guys wrote a back and fore that consisted of a fight that they each wrote a part of. I'm pretty sure me and Lee did one of those actually - which ended with Kincade throwing a crate down the stairs at Zhi??? I think that happened

Saint RKO'd him and then Shoe beat him down with a sleeper hold that had "snot streaming out of Saint's nose" then it all kicked off with everyone RKO'ing people for days
