Cotto vs Gamboa
Apparently in talks for a 150 catchweight bout.
Is this the P4P worst catchweight in history?

He has a pathological admiration of Mayweather. He's decided Golovkin, being the antithesis of Floyd (non-American, exciting, will fight anyone his weight), is his nemesis and so looks to discredit him at every turn.
I've seen him argue that Golovkin hasn't even been avoided. GGG just says he has so he can take easy fights. Mind-boggling.
I used to take Lennox Lewis personally when I was a teenager but nothing even approaching this.

Would agree this might be the maddest catchweight ever. Gamboa was brave but outgunned against Crawford... Do yeh, let's go up in weight again? He likes a burger, he's going to look like a rolypolygram if this one comes off.
As for golovkin, no doubt he's been avoided historically on a risk reward basis and little doubt that team Alvarez are in no hurry to slay their golden goose. With belts and tv contracts and increasing public awareness, GGG has less of an excuse going forward. I think there's no doubt he'd fight anyone put in front of him, but his team aren't going to bribe people to take a kicking so are happy enough to take lower risk fights for good money.
As for Truss, he's critical of the cv, but he's actually been waxing lyrical about Glolovkin's ability of late. Almost too gushing... Must have met a cute russian rent boy down the oyster.
