Fight Night Thread
So who you picking? Just tuned in to see Edwards way out his depth stopped in 10. Now for Callum Smith...don't know much about his opponent so expecting an early bash out here with body shots.
Hall vs Haskins should be a great scrap....then the debated Good fight/ Overmatched fight....
Discuss....and enjoy...

Re: Fight Night Thread
Hopefully the Hall-Haskins rematch is better than the first fight. Haskins just strolled to a wide decision first time out.

Re: Fight Night Thread
Edwards performed as expected. Showed talent, heart but it was just to soon to put him in for a world title in his 9th fight.
Smith is sparring but the Hungarian is durable, if not challenging.
Smith does look huge. They're saying the Hungarian has fight at LHW but Smith looks about two weights up from him

Yeh the gap in size and quality is big here. Smith looks like he is sparring, may go all the way unless he starts to dig the shots in for the next couple rounds.

Re: Fight Night Thread
Felt bad for Edwards. Wanted him to see the final Bell. Clearly got talent but you're not gonna win top level fights with only a double jab and quick feet.

Re: Fight Night Thread
Hall looked a bit too tense in that first round, using a bit of nervous energy, needs to control it.

Commentary team finally noticed that Hall is actually landing. Needs to keep in his face.

Re: Fight Night Thread
Might be a better fight than I thought it might. I thought it would be scrappy with Haskins winning at distance.
But hall seems to be getting closer and finding the target easier

Think hall nicked it for me, but not one you could argue too hard about it.

Got a feeling this fight will look a lot like Golovkin Vs. Proksa.

The closer it's got the worse I feel for Brook. Reckon it could be over in 3.

Re: Fight Night Thread
If he lets GGG cut the ring off he's screwed but he's troubling GGG so far my £5 on him for PTS could work well here

I'm already impressed with brook. Having way more success than I thought he would.
GGG seems a bit out of sorts. Does he respect brooks power and angles?
