Braehmer wasn't a proper world champion though like nearly all German so called world champions of the past.

It's a joke to be honest but Cleverly is going nowhere at world level. Instead, it sets up Clev v Bellew III (The Decider!) to be fought at a catchweight. Can't wait for that!

I didn't bother to watch it but, there's a suggestion on one of the usual sites that Braehmer deliberately threw the fight so he rematches cleverly and not have to fight the winner of Krusher v ward

Tend to agree Truss, the titles mean little nowadays. What this does mean is a seemingly decent kid might just get out of the sport with a good few quid in his pocket. As Darren Barker found the Germans tend to pay good money to get the rematches over there. Can't begrudge him that.
